vent... neighbours saving parking spot with bins

No-one owns the road space in front of their house so I would pull all the wheelie bins off the road.
Even if someone's pregnant I don't think that means they can block people in if they are parked legally in front of their house." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

entertainingly, we also live on a one way road, and people often decide to reverse down to spaces (easier than driving in a circle to go up). I'm a little mean and won't reverse to accomodate them wanting to park behind me. (When I'm driving up the road). Some drivers are sooooo irritating!
Although the pizza guy (Dominos) maintained that his little mo-ped was allowed to drive the wrong way down the street - is that true? He also maintains he can park his mo-ped on the pavement and it's not illegal.
I want to live in the country - miles from all other human life! (then I can whinge my little car can't cope with the bad roads
) If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
I live in a house with a drive big enough for five cars, but when I lived in London a few years ago in a terraced street, hardly anyone in the street owned a car yet after about 7.30am it was impossible to find a space. Really annoying if you went shopping during the day then had to park a couple of streets away and carry your shopping back.
It was fabulous when the council finally brought in a residents only parking area. The first couple of days were great watching all the commuters get parking tickets. From day three, the street was pleasure again."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

Nope. Mopeds are subject to the same road rules as the rest of us."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

Well done.
There is a road near me where someone reserves spaces with a bin.
Next time I see it I will move it.0 -
Move the bin a few streets down and fill it with rubble, and park your car, if they put a note on your car, get a solictor to send a letter warning them about criminal damage to your property.0
