I'm struggling with what day is it? too!
Glad you're not getting ofstedded. We're all knackered at our place too but I think it is just getting acclimatised to being back to manically working! By next week I guess we'll just adjust and hopefully feel less tired!

  • We were saying this morning that in the holiday it takes us soo long to do anything, but now we're back we've done about a million things before 9o'clock.
I'm sure its good for us, though.

It always is hard just to get used to getting up again i used to find, and still do now really even though my pressures are different.

How bad is your hand? Sounds a nasty accident. I am forever telling my two off for racing round and fighting when i am cooking as i am sure they will get hurt one day.
  • Hand is not so bad thanks, I put it in icy water, easier said than done since our water was switched off randomly with no warning earlier.

I wonder what the water company would expect a bottle fed baby to survive on for that time?

twinklie I see you there! We are going to choose a puppy on Saturday, are we bonkers?!

    eta car was £370 eek!

  • Thanks Cath.

Year 11 asked me today how I will cope with a puppy AND a baby, I said "if I can manage you lot, ONE baby and ONE puppy will be a doddle"...

Would be a NSD, except Mr S coming with the groceries if it doesn't snow. We are sticking to the meal plan quite well, and I am doing the lunches while DDs eat, which seems to be working.

Wondering if the dog breeder will flex the date of picking up the puppy by a week...since I need to wait until half term...DD1's piano teacher is coming soon, and wondering how MIL got on with the macmillan nurse yesterday.

Lots of things up in the air.

  • Busy but happy day, did fire writing with chemclub, anyone else do that?

NSD. Yesterday, MrS brought 1 pack of quorn sausages and tried to charge me for 19 packs, naughty naughty, *wags finger at Mr S*

Dear family friend/babysitter/Godmother of DD2 back off to uni so came to say goodbye, and tomorrow we are going to see the puppies!!!

There do seem to be a lot of very grumpy people about at work. Mostly adults. No other news to report, except that will pay deposit for puppy with cash saved from Christmas holidays which if it hadn't snowed we would have spent, so there is a little silver lining to the snow.
