OH knows an engineer so he if coming in when her finishes to have a look. condition of sale is a 7 day warenty on the heating and the integrated kitchen appliances so need a cheap as possible fix but it may be hartless but it only has to last 5 weeks and then no longer my responsibility.

  • Goodness is that usual in Scotland to offer a personal warranty on appliances??

  • Well I have 17 minutes til I need to get the smalls in bed, 15 minutes to do that and get ready to go to a meeting with a 17 item agenda.

And they wonder why no one wants to be a governor!! MIL is in hosp now having tests.

The guy is coming tomorrow to fix the boiler, DH is trying to find a dw engineer, what will conk out next?

Spent £13 on knickers for DD2 I can't have another morning like this morning. And I will have to pay the babysitter for this evening, so I am paying for the priviledge of a meeting with a 17 item agenda. Rage, rant.

On the upside the water bill for the quarter is £62, against a budget of £150, but then it will be higher in the summer when we can't use well water. I will have to record the bills for a year and average them out. DD2's bill for lunch club at pre-school was £52.

yup, 'fraid so. Plumber bloke restarted boiler, its a dodgy connection on the circuit board, coming back at 8am to have a proper look and then sort. He thinks there is probably a crack in one of the bits of solder so I will probably be spending tomorrow afternoon soldering a circuit board still if its a cheap fix I don't care.

  • Wow I never knew that, Kirstie and Phil never mention it on location location!!

So how do you ever enforce a personal warranty?? Must be unenforceable surely?

Babysitter cost me £20 but meeting went the way I wanted it. Dying to find out how many of my students went to heckle DH!!

  • Whew, where to start? Will have spent a lot today (Mr S delivery and boiler repair if he ever turns up). Frantically busy day, and exhausted.

DH was in bits as SIL decided to ring him up with all doom and gloom about MIL. Why she has to ring him at work and wind him up, I don't know, he was barely fit to be there today. MIL has had more tests, and no cancer has been found, so we still don't really know anything. Maybe she doesn't really have cancer?? Let's hope not.

Made DH a lunch for tomorrow from leftovers, DD1 has to take cash for non-uniform tomorrow for Children in Need, and going to look at a car on Sat, all being well.
