This morning I have taken baby for his jabs, and managed to spend £129 on paint/putty/wood hardener for doing up ALL our windows. eeek.

Roofers are working like dogs The dog is following them around randomly sitting to try to cadge food off them - breaking off to stare in amazement as they go up and down the ladder.

DH is marking...oh and I spent a fiver on DD1's horsey holiday activity. DD2's uniform has arrived. Guy is coming soon to replace the well water pump so when we get the house pressure washed (yep, really) we can use the well water. Ha Ha! Strategy.

Completely frazzled now, we seem to have been so busy today.

I'm not sure renovating a house with a baby and a puppy is a good recipe for relaxation!

Not at all but I'm sure a glass or 2 of wine would help even things up!

It's a good idea, but then I will get super energy and be up until stupid o'clock - and v.grumpy tomorrow. Kitchen planner coming tomorrow.

Managed to avoid the vino last night.

I am so sick of marking now, one of us has been at it for 7 weeks now.

Today I have done two loads of washing, vacuumed through sitting room, hall and kitchen. I have arranged DD2's party for september!!

Work progresses on the house and we have met with a kitchen guy who is doing us some drawings.

Busy day, always someone knocking on the door.

We now have a working water pump, a rather pretty house is emerging from under the grime. DD1 is off to do her play, DH has taken puppy training.

It is persisting down again here - not great roofing weather, but bless them they were here before we were dressed. They have neatly stacked the old battens for MSE use as kindling.

DH is marking - the final push! Plan a NSD today.
