Its hard that it's so expensive isn't it? We have a paddock, the main problem expense will be shoeing.
It's £22 per hour where DD goes, but she doesn't go every week. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Quiet round here today. Been for a family walk, done loads of washing, put loads away. NSD.
Was going to focus to see if paint was in the sale, but it has closed down already. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Well 3 1/2 days to go until DH is off. Puppy is mental at the moment. DD2 constantly whingeing and DD1 is in bed ill.
I feel rubbish.
The dog thinks she's a !!!!!!! electrician, all the empty sockets have childproof covers on, they're not puppy proof. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Sounds a tough beginning to the day. Hope it gets better as it goes on.gratefulforhelp wrote: »The dog thinks she's a !!!!!!! electrician, all the empty sockets have childproof covers on, they're not puppy proof.
Oh dear. Still, as long as they are reasonably modern sockets and not broken inside then you should all still be safe unless the puppy pulls the cover off AND the children poke something into the earth pin hole AND the children poke something metal into the live pin hole.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Hope your day gets better
Thanks cath and Lois.
We do have a modern circuit board we got fitted with RCDs on everything, so there is probably limited danger of electrocution.
Dog has calmed down, she was upset as DD1 stayed in bed, and is there still. She is totally devoted to her. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
In a planning-ish mood today.
1. Guy coming today about wood burner and chimney lining.
2. Friday scaffolding up for roofer.
3. 15th August shower room work starts.
Need to
1. Order bathroom cabinet and light pull.
2. Get paint and paint back of fireplace.
3. Meet with kitchen planner #2 next week.
4. Arrange replacement of pump to the well.
5. Arrange drainage work, hedge cutting and mowing of field.
That will do for now.
Going for NSD apart from that mentioned, DD2 has forest school, DD1 still poorly. My hair is falling out at a rate knots. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Been moneysaving, switched leccy supplier to a fixed tariff and discovered £165 sitting in Scottish Power's bank account instead of mine.
Took DD1 to docs ("It's a virus...there's a lot of it about") and spent £95 on diesel:eek:
Last night had to do a mercy dash to rescue DH, who had dropped his car keys irretrievably in the long grass of a 2 acre field (dog training)...cue me begging Dad to sit with girls, loading up baby, getting out of the village through massed hordes of morris men...getting half-way there and realising spare key left on radiator in hall...back through morris men still waving their hankies (what do I care if they've blown their noses?) get key...back out, morris men now fighting with rounders bats....eventually rescued DH,never did find keys.
Dog is still exhausted now.
