Ooh no. He is on about 20 papers per day at the moment - they are looonnnnggggg.
Glad you enjoyed them, did you go anywhere I might like? Sorry you got the traditional Devon weather - although I think it is not so different from the N.Wales weather! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
We went to Exmoor Zoo, Funderzone (soft play area) and had a meal at The Red Barn. Didn't do the Big Sheep in the end due to the weather. I wish we had been able to do more and although the holiday was great, sunshine makes things better. We were tempted by Adventure Land and Dinosuar World (have you been there?). There really is so much to do in the area isn't it. We will definitely return to Devon but possibly further South next time.
It is pouring with rain here today! I think the weather is following us. Have we left clear blue skies behind us?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Haven't been to adventure land or dinosaur world - was the red barn ok? I always think its jolly as they don't mind a bit of sand.
eta blue skies now - but torrential rain before that.

Yeah was ok, child friendly which helps and food wasn't bad. Nice view of the beach too from our table. I hope you have a weekend of sunshine! We may drive to the beach (not Woolacombe!) on Monday if we have nice weather.
We pulled up at services on the way down and as we got out of the car DD asked 'where's the beach?' lolJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

I missed it, but was there in spirit!
Ballet done, bought a pretty poppy plant in palest yellow for a quid. Riding later for the other DD, that's £22. DD1 bought a probably Beswick china Shetland pony.
DH reckons we should get a pony. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I grew up with horses, not mine but stables near me where i mucked out in return for lessons, beautiful animals and taught me alot i think. I want this for my DD buts its so expensive, the same stable i went to is massive now, £27.50 an hour for lessons!!!! Cant justify the expense. One day when i'm MF hopefully we'll get a place in the country with space for horses... although she'll be about 19 by then lol...0
