Hope it's the final day or marking for DH. Hope the roof isn't off for long!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Thanks cath I really can't stand another day of marking. Should net 2k + overall though, but they get their pound of flesh.
How are you feeling? Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
You will soon remember life before marking began! I suppose it seems a good idea at the time and will be worth it when the money comes through.
I am good thanks, getting tired and achy at end of the day but well overall. A little anaemic 10.2 so need to buy some Spatone to try and get iron levels up. I only have the rest of this week and next week in work then I have 2 weeks off before going back for 2 weeks then I'm done!
You're having your fair share of rain in your part of the world aren't you? I hope my visit wasn't the cause and it was just bad timing!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I don't think this year there has been many weeks when it would be good to have the roof off. Hopefully it will make the house warmer for you and more cosy for winter.0

Cath take it easy as much as you can, won't you?
michelle we have actually had water pouring in when it hails - hoping not to worry about that for 30 odd years!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Cath would you like any more boy 0-3 months babygrows/vests? Or are you all up to your neck in them? Also do you want any more DD togs? Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

I am trying to take it easy. Am soooo looking forward to my day off tomorrow though. I am getting a lot of braxton hicks and they are worse when I am rushing about in work.
That's very kind grateful, I would like them. Need babygrows more than vests but both appreciated (unless Smlsave needs more too). DD is always in need of clothes too! I think I have probably forgotten just how much washing a newborn creates and these breastfed babies make an awful mess!
Is the marking all completed? How is the roof work going? We have had a couple of dry sunny days which would have been useful to you! Next door but one are having extension work at the moment, I wish I was!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Marking done yesterday, smlsave says J is too big for 0-3s.
Roofers are ace and cracking on despite the dreadful weather.
You really don't need building works when pg!
eta went to look at kitchens today, when DH can tell they're poor quality, they must be bad.
Bought flowers for person who teaches DD1 piano, should have got them myself, florist did DH over. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

That would be very kind then, thank you.
Is your kitchen planner an independent one? The quality of the units from the company I had a quote from were fab but you do really get what you pay for.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Yes, an independent one, going to look at another lot tomorrow.
I am staggered at the people offering made to measure who will not visit to take their own measurements. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
