No, my first two were 8 months then six months.
Well, one frog eaten, filling in forms for the kids' investments, finally. 2 loads of washing done and dog walked so my exercise promise kept.
Had a letter from the chief exec of our health trust replying to my letter about home birth/s.
Also got paid £48, start of examining money, yay! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Eaten another frog, going into work tomorrow I think.
Third laundry load done. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
That's great going with the sleeping especially being exclusively breastfed. I topped DD up with a bottle one night and she slept 11-5 at 10 weeks, it was bliss. Some mothers expect babies to be sleeping through by 5 or 6 weeks - I just think that's too young. Do you 'dreamfeed' him at all? It worked for us.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

What's dreamfeed, cath?
Been to school today to take presents for some colleagues who are leaving. Changed a coat of baby's - he had two the same - in m and s.
DD2 at school for her first morning. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Dreamfeed is when you feed them when they're asleep. My mum always used to wake us for a feed at say 10pm but it's ok to feed them whilst they're asleep. They don't choke and since they are so relaxed when they feed they don't get wind either so you can put them straight back down. A sleeping baby should latch on too. I used to pick up DD, feed her and put her back down and it worked for us. I can't remember where I first read/heard about it but will definitely do it again with this baby at the appropriate time.
Hope DD2 has enjoyed school, my DD is desperate to go but won't go till she's 5 as she is a September baby.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
You got it right then, timing-wise.
What a lovely name, dreamfeed, I don't really, but do a nappy change and feed whenever we go to bed and put him in his cot - he's on laps until we go to bed at the moment.
Ploof! tiredness has hit me like a truck, stayed up late too many nights and feel really irritable. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
61/2 is good for a 3 month BF baby. Hasn't it gone quick since Mr T was born! ( probably not for you though )
I BF one of mine but gave up after 6 weeks. The other 5 have all slept through by 7 weeks but I'm really strict with them low level lighting, don't speak to them etc, only changing a nappy if I had to.. so they were probably so bored they wanted to sleep through!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
You have to be boring, its the only time its a real advantage!! I think f/f babies get more energy in and so can last longer.
How's moving madness? Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
