We took enough toys to entertain our two plus the other 5 that were at our pub lunch today. Luckily we did it, or we might have had a few poorly behaved toddlers.
I can't believe the other mums didn't take anything. I don't go anywhere without lots of goodies.0 -
Well done you. DH ended up doing bouncy castle supervision as its amazing the number of parents of toddlers who "drop and go" (to the bar!)
My DDs always take a toy and or a book when we go out.
NSD yesterday and got to 75% on AS.
Today we are going to say goodbye to the 40 year old kitchen carpet...a good innings I would say. We will have to live with concrete for a few months. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Well done on the marking, it will soon be finished and the payment will make it that much sweeter!
I would say your carpet has done very well - you sure you won't miss it?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Well its a glorious day here, and rather depressingly DH has been taking out the carpet all day so far, there is filth all over the kitchen, the dog is traumatised as her bed has been moved, and I have been listening to two children and a baby squealing all day. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

End of year two and starting his dissertation.
I got back last night at 10 pm after running to catch the ferry at 5 am. Am on my 3rd load of washing (all on the line of course in true money saving fashion) then a full english roast beef with all the trimmings and apple crumble all from scratch (and veg incl new pots from the garden).
I just want a lay down or a glass if wine lol.0 -

I guess that's right.
Well I have just about reclaimed the kitchen, it is sweltering here. Puppy's bed is in the wm, and I have to get to 80 something percent in the marking.
DH went off piste again in the supermarket. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
21% of the marking left to do, dog hair everywhere, and I have to do some present wrapping and thank-you-carding.
Pup needs walked, have to measure glass for internal window...
Did do a survey last week so expecting £3 in paypal.
Awesome live music at wedding on Sat, quite inspired to dust off my sax and have a blow.
