just caught up on all your news. congrats on being debt free, regardless o it being through 'fortune' rather than planning. Eek at the thought of putting three littlies through uni - that'll cost a pretty penny
I'm not sold on this new series of DW. The trailer looked so promising, but I'm fed up of feeling confused. Not confused in a good way either, I can't even guess at what's going on. There have been some cracking one liners which hint at what Moffet is capable of as a writer, i'm just not sure he works as a sci fi writer. Not sure I can be bothered to go back and watch this series from the start in the hope that it will be better second time around :cool:know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
That's what I would do. I wouldn't know what to do with an aga though if I fell on it.
thanks, aga you dump laundry on it and it comes off dry and ironed, and bung food in it and comes out delicious, unless you forget about it !!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

The frustration with DW as twinklie says will be waiting til autumn.

1. pantry
if you will have sufficient storage space in the rest of the kitchen, this would be negotiable for me
2. laundry room
I like the idea of a utility - a room where you can shut the door on the mess. Especially if it has a door leading to the garden, so you have a place to remove muddy items from the kids before they come into contact with the rest of the house
3. back porch
do you actually use it for anything? Do you stand to benefit more from what you will gain if you get rid of it?
4. the ability to hide cooking mess in a part of the kitchen invisible to dinner guests
nice but not essential for me personally. making a mess is part of the dinner cooking process. The type of people who would take issue with that are not the kind i would invite round for food
5. chimney breast with aga in
do you like having a big cooker, and do you make use of it? if not, then this is negotiable

1. pantry - keep
2. laundry room - keep
3. back porch - get rid
4. the ability to hide cooking mess in a part of the kitchen invisible to dinner guests - depends on how often you have guests
5. chimney breast with aga in - keep
Though saying that if you get rid of the pantry and laudry room can I have them :rotfl:0 -

oooh good luck with ebay, there should be a bidding war for that!
I would get rid of pantry and back porch if it will open up more space for you.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Think you've just about had a different response from all of us. Good luck with that one! Ha ha.
Right, hotel (4 star thank you very much) has tv in room. Kick off is at 14.30. So I should make it back to the hotel in time to "freshen up" and whilst I do that it would be rude to not watch DW!!! PERFECT birthday weekend! I'm going to add that it's not my birthday for another month but hey...this is the best match we could get tickets for close to my 30th.
Will be so lovely to have 3 days without marking! Woo hoo. How goes yours by the way?Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
