SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!

Hassleous day, but lots of good admin type things done. mortgage free plan altered slightly.

2. laundry room
3. back porch
4. the ability to hide cooking mess in a part of the kitchen invisible to dinner guests

That's what I would do. I wouldn't know what to do with an aga though if I fell on it.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
% of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. July 25 - 38.82%/31.66%
