  • Excellent.

The elder one rides, the younger one sits on! Thinking we will chat to architect neighbour about drawings for planning permission.

  • Just ordered a load of books from WH smith and pony items from amazon, all with cards/cash the DDs were sent/given for Easter and the arrival of the baby.

They really are very lucky. So NSD, yay!

Finding it quite ironic that in this increasingly secular world, lots of the country will have been watching a C of E service on the telly today(yay!).

  • Busy day, posted thankyou card to community midwives, got DD's hair cut, got them bathed. Fresh linen on all beds and sofa covers off and in wash.

DD1 has a friend round to play, then highlight of the weekend *sad gimpoid alert* Dr Who!

Watched the last of the millenium trilogy films last night, which was good but the disc was a bit sticky and the removal of so many bits from the book left the ending rather weaker than it should have been.

Not *quite* sure where the rest of the day has gone. Wedding tomorrow, yay!

£20 for girls' haircuts and no other money spent. We have enough food in to last a century, including a M and S dine in deal.

Thunder and lightning here, love it!

eta how long is it reasonable to wait for payment for an ebay item???

Wedding today, baby did a vast burp during the prayers.

£5 in offertory plate and £15 to air ambulance in lieu of a present.

3 loads of washing done and completely exhausted, must remember to get ready the night before, to fail to prepare, et.c.

Dr Who was good. We have to be very inventive to get the DDs out of the way so they don't get scared by it!!

had you posted this yesterday, I might have suspected you meant 'THE' wedding :p you can always rely on small children for grossly mistimed yet highly amusing noises during the quiet bits in church :D still, better out than in :rotfl:

    Dr Who was good.

not sure i agree  the first two episodes of this series have been far too bitty for my liking. I'm all for a good story arc, but not when it comes at the expense of the individual weekly plots. Hope the series improves because I do have a soft spot for Dr Who.

Must say though, I am growing to really love River Song, she rocks.

    "I'm quite the screamer" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

There was a lot of stuff left hanging (like how to shoot two people and have them arrive alive in body bags with noone else noticing) but I love that we have seen the Rory character doing some acting - last series I thought he was pointless - and I love seeing the doctor being nasty (says something odd about me I'm sure!!)

Puppy has managed to rip the lining of my nearly new curtains Grrrr.

I would think about 48 hours? I always pay promptly as I know as a seller how frustrating it is.

how long did you wait before opening a dispute? is there a time limit for this?

thanks for the replies. been to plant fete worse than death this morning, they had good cake and a few interesting plants - black mint, orange mint...typing one-handed, is it obvious?!

spent £8 but all in a good cause, dh went to shift some furniture in church, and has done a mad dash for nappies - if you're a baby you never poo in a wet nappy, but wait for it to be changed first!!

lunch next, puppy is trying to get on my lap despite baby being on it:eek:
