as a box of frogs:eek: she tried to poison DH when he was tiny and nearly succeeded. And her Ma told me that story!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Dreadful day, but has ended on a positive note, lunches are packed, bag is packed for tomorrow - taking baby to clinic to be weighed.

I have also cleared my corner of junk in the sitting room, so a hotspot gone.

Think I may have another instalment of clothes, Cath, if you have the will for them?

Locking DD2's clothes cupboard has radically reduced the laundry load:rotfl:

Goodness, I was awol yesterday. Went to clinic to get baby weighed and it was missing the two vital ingredients - any health visitors and a clinic.

I phoned them and they said "oh yeah we cancelled it" after a 10 mile round trip...not happy.

Still I got a present for the couple whose wedding we are going to tomorrow...they don't want presents...so I got a £20 credit at the picture framers towards getting a wedding photo framed.

Finally wrote thank you cards for remaining midwives...and sent a fiver in to school to someone I had sponsored.

£29 of M and S vouchers received from CC - that makes £6 each, ish.

Mr T delivery and the £10 off was ok. I might have another voucher, if anyone wants the code off it - for a tenner off the first delivery.

HV is coming to weigh baby today...did I mention I was a bit scary!

  • Wedding was lovely, very unstarry and the vicar (chaplain at a notable public school) was bonkers! Think he was worried God may get in the way of the jollity!!

Beautiful church and setting and the Bride looked fab, haven't seen her for ages. Baby did a big poo just as Bride arrived (25 min late, Groom didn't seem too stressed) but at least DD2 didn't flash her pants.

They had bubbles for the children to blow, as well as having confetti. We didn't go to the reception, as we thought it would be too much to jolly the baby along. Bit wimpy maybe, but came home and popped round the corner to a neighbour's charity tea party.

Dr Who was ok, not so good as the first two, whaddya think, twinklie and pavlovs? DH has just got the Christopher Ecclestone series on DVD...

May go to M and S today to spend tokens. Did my back in again yesterday morning so in a lot of pain, have some small insight into what it is like being a physiclly disabled parent. Not easy.

My DS2 poo'd in the middle of a wedding when he was tiny too. A big one. And then you sit there worrying it is going to leak out.

Sorry to hear you hurt your back. Hope it feels better quickly. Nothing worse when you have to do stuff.

Clothes would be great if you don't mind - it really is very kind.

I think DH is kind of hoping we have another girl as we wouldn't need to buy clothes!

Sorry about your back, is it a flare up of an old injury or something new?

Sorry to hear about your back. Hopefully it will settle down soon. I am a fellow sufferer and have just had 4 steroid injections in my lower back to relieve the pain ( not for the first time)
