  • Not at all, you are helping me - it is quite depressing drowning in "stuff" to think we thought we would rattle around in this house, and now, under everything there is something!

Hoping to go for a sleep once baby has been fed...guess what, he has settled down for a lovely sleep and so I can't feed him.

    Well thank you once again.

When we bought this house we thought it was our dream home! 6 years later, a toddler and a baby on the way we have converted the garage to a playroom and are trying to think of ways to make the boxroom bigger. I was amazed how much space DD's things took up when she was tiny. At one point we had a moses basket and 2 baby chairs in the living room!

I know, I am very well thank you. I'm 16 weeks, have a lovely little bump and started to feel kicks. Hoping i'm getting into the best bit of pregnancy now, I loved the middle bit last time as i felt so well.

Well, hugely busy day yesterday. DH did his haircut and swearing. I posted a load of stuff. Got prescriptions and tried to register baby with Doc, but forgot nhs number, d'oh! Got grass seed to patch the lawn and hair goodies for girls. Saw HV who has signed us off, baby has gained 11 oz in 7 days!! Lady stopped me and said how lovely and well mannered DDs were, having watched us in the chemist. aah!

Then we went to land rover and got car fixed (there was a recall on the brakes) and I made them clean it, since its a 40 mile round trip. Then we went to MrS and got 3-6 months clothes for baby, he is almost too long for 0-3 months stuff...on the 95th centile for length. DDs spent easter money on sunglasses, better than eternal chocolate, and got DD1 a dress for impending weddings - DD2 has a million dresses.

Got home exhausted, and puppy on her own for the maximum acceptable time. Today we have had a friend of DD2's for a play and then going to crash out, since exhausted - most unbroken sleep last night 2 hours, and not a lot else of longer than 15 min.

So £25 in MrS (25% off clothing) and £20 in cash which mostly went to solicitor. Also Mr S delivery yesterday.

Soo looking forward to new Dr Who tomorrow, what a sad gimpoid I am!

  • The house has lost 4k in a month. Not good, LTV has gone up, overpayments no longer keeping up with house price drop.

Another £48 overpaid, could do better!

Wrote to chief exec about home birth, did some washing and got dw on. Planning to laze around and do some fiddly jobs today. Should be a NSD. Made £3.75 on surveys yesterday.

  • Jolly day today, made it to Church, which was lovely. Lunch with M and D. Home to collapse. Baby is not doing sleeping much. Tomorrow needs to be prep for "back to school" .

is this a long term/forever home?

I've always taken the view that if it is, the rises and falls in the short - medium term are not worth worrying about, as it only becomes a major issue of you need to move or remortgage. That said, doesn't make it any less painful paying out each month knowing that the numbers don't balance

Thomas sounds like a milk monster! Hope he settles into a sleep pattern for you soon.

enjoy what's left of the easter hols

  • He he, he is a proper milk monster. Last night he slept 3 hours and then 2 x 2 hours, so yay!

It is our forever home, the reason I keep track of the value is for the LTV for when we remortgage, as it makes so much difference to the rate you can get. Not until 2015 though!

    Are you back on Tues??
