  • HV was lovely ( a man, shock! horror!) but Baby has not gained any weight since Monday, eeek!!!

Just telephoned for a CB claim form as I don't have a printer and you cannot apply online. Man on the phone says

"why do you want a CB claim form?" erm...to claim CB?

"Yes but why do you want to claim CB?" erm...because I'm entitled to?

"Yes buy WHY are you claiming?" erm...I'm sorry I really don't understand what you are asking me. Turn out the correct answer was because I've had a new baby. Then he said

"you will have got a claim form in your bounty pack in hospital" erm...I didn't go to hospital. Gawd help us.

Got there in the end. Now to email builder with tile and bathroom links.

You should have got a bounty pack from your MW or HV if you had a HB. The same happened to me.

I got one before the MWs signed me off - we stay with them here until the baby is 4 weeks old.
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

He was Irish, so one would have thought we would have a cultural understanding of each other, but no.

They didn't give me one and they have signed me off, but TBH the bounty pack is mostly junk and the poor M/wives don't even have an office anywhere, so I don't blame them if they are a bit haphazard with "stuff" nowhere to leave it!

I have the white wall tiles in my kitchen and I love them :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Do you have a big area of them? Not too clinical?

I love these, I had a house once with the original thing in...lovely!

Ex colleague coming for lunch today with her little boy, and DDs coming home, so busy busy. DH can't wait for the end of term, and I can't say I blame him!

Not a NSD in the end yesterday, since I ordered some iron-on name tapes for the DDs, I am soo sick of the ones you sew, they fray after about ten seconds.

  • OOh, managed to get the electrickery bill down, all that nagging paid off. Also 2 lb to go until have lost (this) baby weight. Go me. I'm eating like a horse with issues, so no irresponsible dieting-while-breastfeeding going on.

Had a lovely lunch yesterday with friend and her son, he is a little livewire! And have my DDs home now, which is good.

Also..."he breaks up, he breaks down, he don't care if school falls down" DH is on holiday. Good thing since he has a new manager who is a kn0b.

Going to do some ironing today (deja vu anyone?!)
