Wow, so busy! Glad to hear your little fella is putting weight on tooUpdating soon...0

Thanks guys, hungry horace is right!! Girls are just the same, though. DD2 fed constantly for 6 months.
It is great DH being a chalk too, but we do talk shop too much. DH has been given too much anaesthetic and is drooling and can't talk properly. Baby had a bath in "burts bees" baby bath which is fab, smells like honey and very moisturising.
Puppy is eating bubble wrap. Going to achieve a snooze soon, I've got a load of washing on and cleared the kitchen table disaster zone. Also have ordered tile samples for the new shower room. Ooh.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I took out House Insurance with Aviva in February, through Greasy Palm, to start on 4th April, and received £70 cashback. This appeared on my Greasy Palm account. On checking again,a few weeks later, to see when I would be paid, I found that the £70 payment had been reversed and removed. I filled out a query on 26th March, and it was listed as being in a queue, waiting for a reply.
It is still, apparently, in the queue, and I can't find any other way of contacting them.
I don't know if the cashback was reversed because the Policy was only due to start in April.
Has anyone else had a similar experience, and did they reach a resolution?
Any help would be gratefully received.
Looking at the previous posts, I'm not sure if I've posted in the correct place. (Not very site-literate!)0 -
Hopeful - i have had home insurance cashback via quidco declined via quidco in the past couple of weeks too, only mine was taken out in January. I have done a claim but not heard anything back yet.0

I'm a bit underwhelmed by greasy palm. Doing Quidco now. Also collecting nectar points on stuff, since nectar points are immediate and you can add them all together.
Lazy day today, ballet has broken up for Easter, DH is off until Wednesday, then goes back for three days and off again for a week and a day, then goes back for three days and a 4 day weekend (like many I guess!!)
Finally managed to get Racing Green to exchange DH's jersey (trying since start of March). No other news of great excitement so far.
eta ooh yes there is news, 4lb to go til I have lost baby weight (joys of b/f) at least from this pregnancy.
Now there is the stone I gained with the pregnancy I miscarried...and then the two and a half stone I gained with DD2 left to go :rotfl:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Glad the op has gone well and he is feeding better and gaining weight, they have to work that bit harder when they're b/f don't they.
Enjoy your time off with DH, all these bank holidays this month are a bonus!
That's great about the weight loss, put on 2.5 stone with DD, she weighed nearly 10lb of that and i had lost it all within a week! Was prob at my slimmest when she was about 8/9 months as i was still breastfeeding. It's a good job i'm pregnant or i would be incredibly broody!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Grateful, do you happen to know at what stage in the proceedings my head would need to know if I applied for another job? If I go back at half term there's just time to squeeze in my 13 weeks after mat leave to start somewhere new on sept 1st
Well done on weight loss!Updating soon...0 -

LOL the female condition!! DH is planning the snip next, but I would adore another if i could afford it, my body was up to it, i wasn't nearly 40, et.c et.c
That is amazing you lost so much in a week. I have never lost the weight so fast or so consistently.Grateful, do you happen to know at what stage in the proceedings my head would need to know if I applied for another job? Thanks. Really, I would say you should approach him for a reference when you have decided to apply, that would avoid any awkwardness. You don't have to, though, but it is good form. If the new job is in the same LA, you can see out your 13 weeks (or 13 weeks pro rata if you are part time) at the new school, I believe.
Also, depending on how willing your head is to negotiate, he may get LA to waive the 13 weeks if you move to a different LA. I have done this.
Otherwise, standard notice conditions apply, so it would be 31st May if you are in a normal LA school on normal terms and conditions.

Bless you. I can't imagine working in a school you don't like. It's tough enough in one you do. How many days you asking to go back for? I'm too lazy to read back. :rotfl:
