Thanks everyone, what lovely messages to come back to. LP you are clever to interpret the contraction timer stuff. I got my home birth in the end (had to chuck a bit of a strop) but actually the midwives were excellent and highly competent.

We are all here now, which is a nice thing to know. xxx

i made the mistake of watching one born every minute the other week whilst doing my marking - quickly quashed any broody feelings I was having _pale_ :eek:

Baby Thomas has had his baby check and he is tongue tied. Cue dash to hosp next week to get it snipped. EEk!

Ahh bless him. Rach had that problem didn't she with Leo. I remember her having trouble getting him to feed until it was done. I believe it is best to get it done early and it isn't too bad for them. Poor little one. I hope otherwise all is well.

How are you recovering? I didn't hear how much he weighed.
