The milk moster stage doesn't last forever does it though, so i bet you are enjoying it really. ;)

I have no idea what our house is currently worth. I guess in our case it is completely irrelevant as our mortgage is so small there is no way it is only worth £26k. I am hoping it is our forever house. I would like it to be.
  • I am enjoying it, he is easier than the girls. the valuation is just the mean of mouseprice and zoopla values, its rough, but when we remortgaged i used this valuation and the lender's surveyor accepted it.

    26k, wow!

How funny I looked at mouseprice for the first time yesterday and it was doing an average on houses in a street I was looking at but all the houses were different so the comparison wasnt fair.
I might look at mine and see what it comes up with :)

26k  when I looked at someone elses and theres was only £5600 I mentioned I would be so impatient once I get to about £20k, it will be like the last sprint!

Just looked on mouseprice and it only takes into account what you bought it for and then what a nearby property sold for against it and then adds that onto yours. It doesnt take into account that we bought it run down and remodernised it etc. I hope the figure they say is completely wrong lol Its about £7k short :(

It does have it's limitations, even more so here as most of the housing stock is 3-400 years old, so not many comparables. Zoopla is better for that as you can edit the information about the state of the place et.c.

  • Got some stuff in the post today and paid the pre-school bill. DH did the kitchen floor, and I got the drawer out of the wm and nuked it with Milton, it was 1cm deep in black gunge. eeeewwwww!

We went for a lovely walk, to see some long-suffering ponies who seem not to mind being kissed and cooed over by the girls, and the puppy.

Struggling to think what else I have done except feed the baby...oh packed lunches done for tomorrow and organised DD1 to pack her gym bag. Ordered repeat scrips online.

Tomorrow three days of reality, DH back to work, but then wahey 4 days off.
