eek Someone lovvely from the forum just pointed me at 25% off the boots I wanted and in stock! had to buy them really... I can afford them (I think, I'm going to have a money catch up with myself this afternoon) but if not I guess they can be for christmas/anniversary from the boy as he has sort of offered. Anyways towards them I 'earnt' £11 last night on the free scratch cards - the good deal has finished so i just wasted the money I had accrued and then somehow got the balance to over £10 so could withdraw! total result! I think actaully I might make it my challenge to pay for the shoes (£112) by earning/saving in other areas....
£101 to go! and I've just done 2 dooyoo reviews after not going on theree for ages and ages! Does anyone else still go on dooyoo?
I'm a long way from payout but I'll get there maybe.. it has changed so much but I've got about £10 of points in there so I think its a shame to write them off, might as well struggle up to £20, get a voucher and then leave it...?

Sorry for posting more on here in the last few hours than I have for ages and ages! I'm on my own and thats reallly rare for a saturday!

Goal for this week... £0 spend on food/groceries. I need to make what I've got last me until a week on saturday. I have some wierd food stuffs (the stuff from the back of the cupboard) so I think I'm going to have to get creative! If I manage this, I think I can call it £10 towards the boots...

have you got any tips Dinah of how youre going to stretch your £4? What does that have to cover by the way?

Food has a seperate budget, as does petrol. So basically any and all other spends, which sounds easy when you initially say 'well, no buying clothes and treats then', but its not so easy if we want to send Christmas cards, or Christmas pressies by post, or given we each have some sponsorship money owed to people at work, and it's both our works Christmas parties this month!

I do. Not as much as I used to (finally run out of stuff to review!) but still use it.

    • Rainbow birthday cake
    • black cherry trifle
    • white choc and apricot cheesecake
    • roast clementines
    • vegetable lasagne
    • onion tart
    • parsnip, chestnut and cranberry loaf
    • butternut squash casserole
    • potato wedges
    • French onion stuffed mushrooms
    • potato rosemary rolls
    • spiced couscous
    • pumpkin soup
    • onion soup
    • christmas pudding
    And also

    • Find car insurance
    • Iron clothes for next week
    • Confirm prices on different dates for Virgin voucher holiday
    • Order little bottles for Christmas pressies
    • Do mystery shop and report
And thats in addition to going to see Madness tomorrow night, going out for a meal, and hopefully picking up the new car on monday. PLus there is 8" of snow on the ground so just popping to Tesco took us 3 hours.

No I dont go on anymore, dont think its worth it anymore. I go on Toluna quite a lot now and I am just about to redeem my second £15 Love2Shop in the space of 9 days.

Have just got home from work, and it was absolute hell. Managed to get to the doctors in my lunch break and I do have a chest infection, got a bit of a telling off about being at work :o was told to go home by doctor, but I went straight back to work after.
Was supposed to be going into work for 3 hours tomorrow - but manager told me not to come in, said she will give me the hours back next week when I'm feeling better. But I guess she is right my health is more important than an extra £20 in my pay cheque.

First councelling session was ok, thank you for all that asked.

glad the counselling went well Flower :) I hope you get better soon too!!
Flower when you do Toluna do you do the surveys or just the short polls? I did some polls today and then one led to a survey, I did it (for like 2300 points) but the 2300 aren't showing up in my account... Thanks for reminding me about Toluna though because I have 40,000 points so I'm like halfway to a voucher!
Dinah I hope all the cooking went ok! thats a lot of cooking! I assume its for your mums party? Hope she has a good time!
I'm glad as well that the £4.15 doesn't have to cover food!!

Most survey points are supposed to be credited to your account in 24 hours - although Toluna has had a lot of problems recently and not all points have credited properly (but they do seem to be getting better).
If you go onto your points page and scroll right down to the bottom it shows which surveys you have done.

I get accepted to at least 2 - 3 surveys per day, but also get screened out of a lot. A lot of people have a moan about Toluna, but recently I have been getting a lot of points.
