:eek: Like Cinny said, why have people round for food if you don't want to share! I hate tightness, think this is why these bossy invites get me so wound up, especially when everyone in our group is very polite when going to each others house and brings more than enough food/wine/beer... I said to OH when I got the text, 'What do they expect us to turn up with if not food and beer? A donkey?!' When I serve my massive pot of chilli at OH's birthday party I shall send out the message that anyone wanting a plateful can come with 100g of mince so I can cook it up for them! I'm usually wimpy like Tete but may turn to NIM's approach after a few drinks and just tell them what's what!

Cinny, I love the sound of the uniform... but you're going to have to have a matching hat!!!

Birdie - I remember about you talking about those friends before. They sound a bit petty, if you invite people for a bbq then don't tell them to bring everything. Like you say people do it out of coutesy anyway with drinks etc.

Cinny - the cleaning business sounds great, i would definately hire you if i lives near you:)

Haha that would be a good job NIM, you get to 'vent' all day and get paid for it, you'd be so relaxed by the time you got home

CMD No I do NOT feel fit or prepared for the bloody thing, I just want it over with now, I'm sick of walking! We were told the other day as well that the minibus we have doesn't go over 62mph which means we'll have to make up the time on the walks to get in under the 24 hours. The other girls are all so fit and fast, I thought I was quite a seasoned walker but I'm not!
