Sounds like you threw her a fantastic party.

Very productive weekend in our household. We FINALLY beat the ironing pile, only took us 9 months. Also got some mystery shopping done, painted the guest room shelves and second study curtain baton all ready for the pole to go up, wet vac-d the bedroom carpet and thoroughly tidied the second study, our room and gave the kitchen a good going over. Looking forward to the 3 (or in my case 4) day weekend this week - if the weather is reasonable we might be able to get the front garden clearance finished.

    Todays 5 things
    Reply to designer
    Business tweet
Call house insurers and cancel policy and find out renew date
    Get grandad car insurance quotes
Wrap books which sold over the weekend
    Answer queries on MS reports
I know there is 6 again. NIM might do the house insurers one for me though to make it a round 5.

I think I can afford the price. Whats your list? Its only a 2 min phone call, can be done before dinner even.

There is no way on earth all of that is getting done tonight!!! Shame the application and builder are due on the same date. The assignment is due in 2 days before both of those. Guess not much is getting done on the house this weekend as you'll need to hole up in the study.

Forgot that was due the 8th, and I'm out all day saturday too.
Need to get some builders in to assess.

Honestly... we always sit down together to have dinner but then we both tend to spend the evening in our respective studies working on the business & finances/uni & mystery shopping, then we have another good natter when we get into bed. It's one of the reasons I like car sharing so much, it gives us another hour or so a day to talk.

I'll get you some numbers to call tomorrow evening, you can call them on Wed/Thursday lunchtime, try to get them to come out to quote over the 3 day weekend or the Tuesday failing that.
