I can only find time to log on to twitter/facebook once a day. Twitter drives me demented as there are literally thousands of tweets in that time - and it seems a waste of time scrolling for an hour in the hope there is something more interesting than someones musings on a tv show or that they're bored at work! Twitter therefore probably suits if you have more time to check it, or I guess if you have it on a mobile? I can catch up on facebook in 10 mins, I know I won't miss important things like friends getting engaged/selling their house/getting their dream job if I go away for 3 days. But twitter seems to be mostly business, and it's a lot easier to make contacts, so for me personally there is a very clear business-personal split.

Aye I do plan to send out samples, I've struggled tbh to find big baking bloggers in the UK, they all seem to be US based. Any recommendations please lay them on me. I think the only one I follow is The Pink Whisk, she was runner up in The Great British Bake off and I thought she should have won, she seemed so nice and balanced. I also plan to send samples to wedding bloggers and magazines, baking magazines, and then speciality magazines eg my new baby and christening designs to baby and toddler publications, that sort of thing.

Due to launch in about a month - extremely excited. My first event tomorrow night where they are being used, and I had the website visuals this week and I was beyond chuffed with them so I'm very hopeful.

Couscous didn't in any way fill me up. I have 4 hours left of work and in that time I can see my resolve falling apart down to lack of food and hitting the office biscuits. Which I don't actually fancy, my tummy just won't stop rumbling.

Cross post with Tete. Clearly Pink Whisk is supreme!

Sorry to hear about brothers gf Cinny, all you can do is support him, make yourself the reasonable loving one and her the temper tantrumed toddler who won't bend at all. He'll soon see where unconditional love is coming from.

Off the top of my head I can think of Frenchforcupcake and Pearls and Poodles. Type both into google and their pages pop up!

That's amazing about your first event tomorrow! I can't wait to see them myself, I keep getting all giddy for you whenever one of your tweets pops up :D

And stop bloody adding things to your list! And I know I'm being nosy, but this is a money forum!, are things looking any better on the money/budget front? For the first time I'm actually feeling quite positive looking to the next month. That's if the budget runs to plan, we'll hopefully have a little to save which'll be novel!
Rubbish about your bro's GF, is she being like this with his friends as well as with you? Might not be personal, maybe she just wants him all to herself? ALL the time?

She's cut off just about everyone, I know it isn't personal to us but it still hurts. Like, she's even thrown jealous fits when he plans to go somewhere with our Mum! Most of the time I do keep my cool with her, just rant at OH when I need to. I've made a few snap remarks but no worse than I'd say to anyone else who was winding me up. It's just hard. And I really don't want to lose my Brother to her :(

I totally agree with Dinah on Twitter, there's just too much info and too much mundanity (is that a word?) to sift through.

I despair of the male race honestly - people like your brother's GF always seem to have fellas despite men saying how they hate clingy/controlling women, and yet here I am on my tod and I'm LOVELY! Maybe they really DO want to be bossed about, they just don't know it, sigh.

Completely OT but I have a question about Dysons! Anyone know much about them? I will need an Animal one as Mavis is just so hairy, but I can't tell if the numbers of each model (DC07, DC32 etc etc) determine whether they're suitable for pet hair and/or allergies, or whether the model is the model and it will have an "Animal" suffix if it's an animal EDITION of that particular model - does that make any sense at all? Anyone any idea?! :o

We got something from Vine which is Hypoallergenic n stuff which is awesome but taint a dyson. And Tete I'd have snapped ya up in a second if D hadnt stolen my heart first :p
Men need to go through the crazy controlfreak b1T3H before they realise how damaging they are, give it time, we are the dumber sex after all.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Just say the word Tete and I have someone to set you up with. I think he's about a 90% match for you, 5% I know isn't ideal for you and 5% is that spark that only you can judge!

Money update tonight Cinny, I promise, need to do next months budget to get a better idea. We're going to use more cash this month, for food and for spends, bank card only for petrol. Be nice to have a month without bank charges!

Dysons, animal ones are either green or purple, or maybe both?! Yellow ones aren't animal.

Really glad to know someone reads my busines tweets Cinny! I've been worried I'm talking to myself (and my webby, who is quite chuffed that I keep tweeting how well he's doing!)

I know, right?! I know it won't help, but you're the kind of girl I'd wish for my Brother to be with! My OH doesn't think they'll last much longer though, I'm feeling quite bad for hoping he's right :o

And of course I read them Dinah! I do retweet a couple things too, because I'm bloody lovely. :D

Can't help on Dysons. We have a second hand vax given to us when we moved in. Though my Mum prefers Vax to Dysons, they've got moulty dogs and theirs seems to get all the hairs without much bother!

Oooh you retweet me?! That's exciting! Please RT once we launch the website - be fab to get some traffic on there even if its just for a browse. I wish I understood twitter better, I can't even work out if someone talks at me how I see it, hence feeling like I talk to myself. Is there any way to know if you've been retweeted?

Course I will, no problem! To see any @replies or RTs there's a little toolbar underneath where you type your tweets. Click the @mentions tab and any tweet your mentioned in come up, and there's tab next to it named 'Retweets'. Click on that and it brings up a dropdown menu then you can pick 'Your Tweets, retweeted' Easy when you know I guess!
