4 out of 6 aint bad Dinah! I got very little done last night, had to go try my bridesmaid dress on again (still fits thankfully!) and I always get stuck at my friend's Mum's for ages when I go round so I had no time for anything when I got back home. I really need to sit down and finish the wedding present I'm making her, hopefully I can get it done tonight so I can stop worrying about it!

I'm still not into Tweeting, I'm kind of putting it off though as I don't need more stuff to distract me!

We've got a new blind in our bedroom and as much as we complained that our old 'blackout' blind didn't do its job we miss it now that we've just got a regular (admittedly cheap) blind in its place! We've got a green and brown striped voiley type curtain as we used to use the blind for blocking out the light and keep the curtain closed for privacy during the day whilst still letting in light so now it's more or less broad daylight all the time in the bedroom! I'm having to sleep with an eyemask on or I'm waking up with the dawn! Think we'll have to buy some proper curtains!

Shh about that parcel! I'll take it to Billingham on the way home.

Sat nav cable died a death this morning, getting me lost in Middlesbrough. Need to order a new one.

Thanks to TPA for allerting me to the Tesco Meal deal cashback offer, going to pop down and have a go at that this evening. Even the wine I get for cookig with is £4, so that's a nice chunk of free food there.

It's the £10 meal deal, basically there are two bottles of wine which are £4ish in Asda and £10 in Tesco. As the DTD calculator doesn't take deals into account on this one basically you get the voucher back, meaning you pay £4.08 for a bottle of wine, side dish, main and pudding. It's one of the top threads on the grabbit board.

Ooooh... I'll have to see if I can squeeze in a trip to Tesco! I wish I'd seen this last week, we just did a big shop there and we bought a meal deal but we got a different wine with it... will have to go get another, luckily the food was lovely so would quite happily have it again, especially at £4.08!

What did you get? It's likely to go in the weekly email tomorrow, so worth going today. Ithink we're going to try to get 3 deals, get the an £18 voucher. I actually think some of those sides could be near enough a meal on their own. Garlic mushrooms for example, have them on toast or add a bit of creme fraiche and pasta. My £100 will be gone within 3 weeks I can just feel it!!!

We got chicken stuffed with ham and cheese (sounds odd but was really nice and the ckicken breasts were enormous), rosemary potatoes, a bottle of Pinot Grigio (which I couldn't face on Sunday as I was still feeling rough from Friday night!) and triple chocolate sponge puddings. It's pretty obvious that OH made the choices, I was trying to get something a little healthier but he wasn't interested!

I think healthy goes out the window when there are puddings about - I adopt an 'in for a penny in for a pound' attitude.

Girl next to me has homemade carbonara for lunch, it smells so nice I'm fighting the urge to climb over the desk and steal some. My couscous does not have the same appeal!

    - everything moves too quickly, I definately prefer facebook.

Really? I love twitter for how quickly it moves, and found facebook really dull next to it! Twitter is totally better for getting your business around for a few minutes of your time though. Have you thought of contacting some 'big' baking bloggers and offering them some sample cases for a bit of promotion? Well, that's if the cases are going to be made for 'domestic' use too!

That list doesn't sound like it'll take you too long Dinah, hope it goes to plan!

Oooh, HM carbonara sounds good! We had it twice last week as OH loves the one I make. It's really cheap to make too which I didn't expect. Like, 85p for a really generous portion. Plus a 37p SP garlic baguette if we're feeling flush :rotfl:

And thanks Tete :D I'm sure I'll be fine. It's going to sound so lame but I think part of it is just because I'm feeling a little in the dumps recently. More drama with my Brother's Girlfriend, ugh :( I won't get majorly into it (mainly because I get all teary!) but she's really upped her possessive princess qualities recently. Driving a massive wedge between me and my Brother, but he's got his love goggles on and just does what she says :(

That's a good idea Cinny - maybe the Pink Whisk or someone - she always seems very friendly!

I don't really 'get' twitter either, you have to be logged in and reading it constantly to get everyone's updates, and even then they're like the most boring FB status updates people do "Just walked the dog", "going in the shower", "on the bus" *rolly eyes*

Rubbish about your bro's GF, is she being like this with his friends as well as with you? Might not be personal, maybe she just wants him all to herself? ALL the time?
