The Ultimate Incentive to get debt free… again. Dinah & NIM go head to head!

I think NIM could have a point actually (takes one to know one!
), my old boss used to say I was as mad as a box of frogs, whatever that meant! I miss my old office today because they embraced my madness and they'd be perfectly happy to have a sniff of my trousers in the name of research... think that says more about them than me though! :rotfl:
I'm hoping that the smell is just stuck in my nose like you say Cinny, I'm still going to stick them back in the wash tonight though! OH was shocked this morning when I put a load of washing on (so not me!) and couldn't figure out why until he hung it out to dry and saw our fancy union jack tea towel and suddenly it made sense... I want the towel to be nice and clean to use as decoration on Friday!
I'm so happy to be an honorary Zus!!!! :j Drinks would be great fun, such a shame that we're scattered all over, the closest we'd get would be some weird video conference where we're all drinking wine in our living rooms!
I always think that about passing people on the street and not realising that you could be walking past someone you talk to all the time! I always get a bit paranoid when people talk about MSE in case they're come across me!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Like the rest of us are any less odd? Come on girls, theres not a "Normal" person on this thread. On this site even

To myself, I am perfectly normal :A
Honestly though, I don't find anyone on this here (well, this thread at least
) odd. But then my Mum pointed out to me once that I tend to like people more the quirkier their quirks! OH does call me crackers though. But then 'They laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at them because they're all the same'
I've seen alot of people recently doing things and I'm thinking 'You must be from MSE!!' or if I'm with OH I nudge him and say 'One of my own over there, I'm sure!'0 -

I don't find anyone on this thread odd either. But then again, like you Cinny, I like quirky people!
TBH - particularly on the MFW section of the board, I think there are a lot of very switched on, inspirational people!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I've been looking at home and contents insurance for our renewal, and it looks like I can get it for £22 a month rather than our current £58, AND get £32 cashback through Quidco, so I'm chuffed to bits with that.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Good job, Dinah, nice bit of MSE!
Though I am enjoying the mutual quirkiness love-in this afternoon
I'm not worried about being quirky (odd) but I think my colleagues wonder about me when I'm stifling a big giggle about something one of you has said! Actually they just think I sneeze a lot...
PS. I'd smell your legs for you Birdie! :rotfl:LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Aww thanks Poddle!
I just really want to get home and get the blinkin' things off now, only another hour and a half of stinky legs to put up with!
I do a lot of snorty supressed giggles... I hope that the others don't notice too much, they may think that I'm a proper snorter like the lady I used to sit opposite. My old boss sits there now and sends me snort updates... the other day I told her it's 'Snort a laughing matter'
Cracking money saving there Dinah! Well done!

Yes - brilliant savings there Dinah!
And while we are on the MSE bandwagon, I got our BT phone bill and it was £31 instead of the usual £50. I need to remember to cut people off after an hour and then ring them back!
OH has also been offered time and a half (he never gets overtime) if he works the weekend after next and he has said yes to both days as myself and Max will be at home in Ireland. That will be our holiday spending money so am chuffed with that!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Congrats Swinstie!!! That's amazing news.
Today I found an English tea room in Kampala!! It was amazing, there were scones, cakes, brownies and even wheaten bread. What a treat. I had carrot cake. Nomnomnom
(Sorry, that's the most exciting thing that's happened to me in ages :rotfl:)
I'd also love to go out for a drink. Couldn't we meet somewhere in the middle?!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
