Moles dig up gardens Cinny, and in extreme cases have been known to do numbers on house foundations with their wild diggings.

See, on the garden part I'd never be selfish enough to think a patch of grass looking tidy was worth more than a life. And with my semi-useless noggin I'd never even consider of the foundations. Actually knowing me I'd start feeding them and give them names, like Milo! Milo is a good name for a mole.

Dinah - I think it was going to cost more, but when he saw how young we were, and I'd already commented on how much things cost when he asked how we were doing living without the parents, that he knocked some off. Which was really kind. After all the faff, the company decided to pay as it wasn't really our fault them being there. Wonder if I can bill them for all the ant powder OH had been foofing about with gay abandon :D

Thanks for the congrats guys, we're excited beyond belief. Although was almost short lived when I spoke to OH last night, said something about it being great we got the house and he was like 'eh, did we?'. Turns out he couldn't hear me properly, just as well he wasn't saying DON'T BUY IT, ha! Now I just need to get my house ship-shape for selling, one behind me sold within a month but it was freshly refurbished. Luckily we don't technically NEED to sell to get our deposit. Phew, I need a rest.

Milo the mole... I like it! I've called my printer Perry :)... OH decided that's short for Perence... 'Not a real name honey!' :rotfl:

That was very nice of the Ant Man to knock the price down, being young and sweet really does have its advantages!

There's a funny smell on my trousers today, they were only washed yesterday. I took them off on my lunch break and Fabreeze'd the heck out of them but the funny smell's still there. I hope it's not some cheap and nasty new washing powder that OH's bought that'll end up stinking out all of my clothes because it's horrid! I made OH have a good sniff but he claims I'm making it up. I believe that people will think I'm odd if I demand they start smelling my legs though so I can't get a second opinion!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I don't think Birdie is a bit odd. I think you are hilarious Birdie and between you and Cinny and your funny quips I would love to go for a drink with you both (when I am not pregnant) I reckon it would be great fun :)

Oh dear Birdie! I think with smells is if you get something in your head, then you can kind of make up the smell. It's like if you were to sniff and candle and just think 'Ooh, fruity!' then someone tells you a type of fruit that's in it and all of a sudden that's all the candle smells like. But in a more 'What the frick is on my trousers' way. I'm sure your OH would have told you if there were any funky smells!

And NIM! Birdie, you're not odd. But then to me you've got a personality like me and my Sister. I'll make you an honorary Zus :D

I'd love to go for a drink with you too CMD! Infact, I'd love to with everyone on this thread. It's weird to think really, we've been chatting for years on here and know quite a lot about each other but could easily pass each other in the street and just not know!

Normal is just another word for average, and the only average people you meet are the ones you walk past in the street. As soonas you get to know someone they all have a quirk, a hobby, a hook to make them them.
