I know the feeling! I like to think I don't nag OH too much, bar wanting him to do a little housework on his days off (he just doesn't think!) But I'l stop, put myself in his shoes and think how I'd feel if he went on at me like that. Normally stops me right in my tracks!

Sometimes I jjust think boys brains are wired up totally differently to girls I know that for example my OH wont clear the draining board before work if he has a spare second while the toast is cooking/kettle is boiling. This is one thing that annoys me
I also wish he was more motivated to look for a new job!!

I have found that I have been so laid back with OH recently, normally I get so cross with him if he doesnt pull his weight around the house. However, while I have been ill he has been so good doing everything and telling me to relax, I dont think I could moan at him even if I wanted to!

I think it's just the typical thing of most men not being able to multi task there Tink! It's the same with my OH, he'll be stood in the Kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil/tea to brew. Just stood, where as if I was making him the cuppa I'd have put the pots away, wiped the side, then swept the floor. I think I've just quickly got to the point now where I just get on with it myself. Although I've noticed that now I'm not bugging him so much to do housework, he's actually just getting on and doing it when I'm at work and he's home. Still sucks at multi tasking, but he's trying!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Was boiling yesterday, but I learnt my lesson and even though I was in the Kitchen most of the day I kept the door closed. No wandering dogs or angry bumble bees this time!

LOL, glad to hear it Cinny!

I think in our home the roles are reversed, I'm useless at doing little jobs like putting things away etc, it just doesn't occur to me! OH does most of it, then he nags at me and I get cross because why can't he just leave me alone for 5 minutes! :rotfl:

Poor OH lost his wedding ring yesterday, it just fell off when we were food shopping and we searched all over but couldn't find it I feel so sorry for him, nothing seems to be going right for him at the minute. We'll have to claim on the insurance (didn't bother with the bike, he's going to get a cheap second hand one) which means finding £100 for the excess and starting the search for a ring that looks just like his... why couldn't we buy a bog standard, easily replaceable one from a high street jewellers?!

Your poor OH birdie! Sounds like he has not been having any luck at all recently.

OH isn't working till later today but he is still asleep, he went to bed before me yesterday too bless him. He prob needs all the sleep he can get though before i go into labour hehe.

I'm off in a few hours, packing is nearly finished, going to get my hair cut shortly and my friend is on her way around so we can finish packing (have to share one case). Apparently my hotel is 10 mins from one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, think that has to be worth the bus fare.

That's awful about your DH's ring Birdie, can you not get another ring from where you got the first one Birdie? In a smaller size this time!

OH's ring was a second hand one from a local jewellers, which is why he got such a nice one, it was cheap(er) because it wasn't new and it was pretty unique! The really annoying thing is that we meant to go to town on Saturday to get it resized because it was a little too big but he decided he wanted to go somewhere else where the jewellers all happen to charge £10 more for resizing which we wouldn't pay, then we had to rush back for the rugby and didn't have time to take the ring in! Talk about the universe telling you something!

Sorry to hear about your OH's ring Birdie. Oh lost his in Oz when we were over in 2009 (in our holiday house) and he got it back when the cleaners cleaned the place, so you never know where it might turn up! We were the same, his was pretty unique and was costly (£795) so I was pretty annoyed with him. I hope your OH gets his back.
