I've not been very in the MSE game recently, think I need to try ebay but I deffo keep putting it off further and further

Cinny I think youre right about the multi-tasking. I try to show him but i dont know. He seems one of thoe "does-a-really-god-job-but-it-takes-ages" types of people where as I'm more about doing an ok job (i.e. the dishes can be left to drain and then put away when they are dry - you dont have to dry them) but do twice as many jobs!

That's one good thing about being away, no chores for 8 weeks!!! Apart from doing my own dinner dishes. OH and I both take turns at being the lazy one, and the hard-working one around the house. If he's working really hard I have to *everything* which sucks. I haven't got any good excuses for not cleaning as usually I am a full-time student working from home.

So it's the start of week 3 in Kampala, research is progressing well. I am knackered. Can't wait for the weekend! Ahh I wish I was off to Turkey too. Everyone here is heading off for a long weekend, but I don't want to miss 2 days of fieldwork. But it means I'll be on my lonesome for my birthday on Friday. Aw well, guess I will postpone my birthday until later

Ooh, NIM's breaking the rules! In all fairness, if OH went off on holiday and left me with things to do my first thoughts would be 'F*ck that, I'm going to watch Disney channels'

Lara - That does seem pretty fair way to do it, to be honest my OH works way more hours than I do so it's kind of given I'm around more so I can do more housework. Happy Birthday for Friday too, just incase you don't pop online!

Hope everyone's okay, mainly Wendz. It's her due date tomorrow, right? I'm a little snoozy today, stayed up till midnight to watch Easy A then we decided it'd be a great idea to get up early to watch last nights raw before work. Yaaawn.

Sorry that you're going to be alone for your birthday Lara, you'll have to be like the Queen and have an official birthday when you get home!

Hope you're OK and keeping busy NIM, its not nice being left to rattle around a big house on your own! When I lived with my parents in a big old house I'd hear the creepiest noises when I was left alone, by the time they'd return from their holidays I'd be half mad from wandering around looking for ghosts and talking to myself to fill the silence!

ETA: Here's me thinking *tears up* meaning you were a bit teary at being alone, the others are thinking you tore up the list... which one is it?! Stupid English not making sense!

That's really lucky that your OH got his ring back CMD! I'd be annoyed too if it had cost as much as that and he lost it! OH's ring wasn't too expensive but it was The One and we can't afford to buy another! I joked that he should go to the new tattoo shop around the corner from us and get a ring tattooed on his finger, he wasn't too pleased although he had to admit that at least he wouldn't lose it!

Lol - me too. There is no way I would be doing the list if my OH was off sunning myself. I would be kicking back myself and relaxing!!!

Yes - we were very lucky Birdie that he got it back. He was so upset about the whole thing.

Easy A was pretty good. Very funny, although OH wasn't overly keen. Much more of a girlie movie, like Mean Girls. Plus Emma Stone is annoyingly pretty and Miranda from Lizzie McGuire was in it. Flashback!
