That's fantastic CMD! What a fab bonus! :D
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Yes nice and hot here Tete... not sure about the idyllic part though. Downtown Kampala where I spend most of my time is so busy with people and cars. It's like 2 times Oxford Street on a Saturday afternoon, except without the footpaths! I'm back beginning of June - spending 2 more months here. The wedding is August -I am really looking forward to it now. CMD - I think you're right, my Mum hasn't forgiven us for having the wedding in London :(

    Yay to surprise money!!

    Oh heat - I wouldn't mind a bit of that :)

Lara - would it be worth your while sending your Mum a bunch of flowers and/or a nice card explaining how much she means to you and how you value her opinion etc etc?

At the risk of getting shot down / told I'm a cruel inhuman monster, have you considered shock tactics on this one Lara? Tell her if she's no going to snap out of it and stop stropping then she's not welcome? Drastic and controversial I know, but I wish I'd done it with mine as I think things would have been easier all round in the long run.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I'm in a good mood. Its great weather, I got a nice tin of paint to do the conservatory over Easter which makes me feel like I'm moving forward. I got a discount card from focus for April so 15% off anything else I buy (shame its not B & Q though). I found a great lavender tree thing there (I love lavender) that will add height and smell to the garden. There are lots more plants in the garden centre, so I can start to see how the garden will look. All in all, little things making me feel more positive today.

Glad you are feeling good today Dinah, think the sunshine makes everyone feel a bit more positive!

CMD - that is a great bonus!

Had a bit of a wander round shops this morning to get a birthday pressie for my friend. Also was a bit naughty and bought myself a dress but got 20% off with a voucher so was only £8. It isn't maternity but can wear it now which is good.

And the day just got even better, as I made another £20 selling another set of the paints NIM got on a MS a few weeks ago.
