Would it be easier and quicker to look on ebay for a vintage suit and alter it?
I didn't even know you had to have vaccinations for Turkey! I've been twice! Luckily I got topped up with everything when I went to Mexico, although that was 10 years ago now so I really need to get refreshers now (I think!).
Well done on getting back under 10st Dinah! I really need to get back on the wagon! You work so hard at everything all the time, you shouldn't have to justify having some fun time for yourself, maybe you should schedule it in?!
Oh and how organised are you setting up MS at the airport! In a Champagne bar no less! Very nice send off!
Hope you feel better soon CMD, especially as you're going home tomorrow! Fingers crossed it's a one-day thing!
I've now added Room to my book list too... I'm supposed to be reducing my To Read list, not adding to it!
Hi Lara! Glad you arrived safely, sorry about the water though! I don't know which I'd rather have either! :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
CMD - hope you and max feel better soon.
Dinah - well done on the weight loss! The ms's sound great as well, will be a lovely start to the holiday!
Lara - maybe will be the 22nd! Glad you arrived safely.
I just went for a wander down to a couple of shops, weather really is gorgeous today.0 -
Oooh Wendz I hope your baby comes on my birthday, 22nd April :rotfl: Hehe. Flower sorry to hear you are signed off. Hope you are chilling hard
I arrived safely in Kampala yesterday and am sitting on the terrace with the laptop using the newly installed wifi, yippeee! Shame there is a problem with the water :rotfl: Oh well, I'm so addicted to internet I am not sure which I would rather have.
Hugs Lara x
Sounds lovely Lara. Is it nice and warm?
Meant to reply to you about your mother. Do you think she is being negative because she feels left out of the wedding (because it is over here?)Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I have been sick since last Tuesday week. I was feeling better but it came back worse again. I think I gave it to Max and he gave it back to me. OH has just taken him to the doctor.
I nver realised you needed vaccinations for Turkey either. I got a set for our honeymoon in Borneo but I couldn't tell you what they were.
Well done on the weightloss Dinah. Not too far to go until you achieve your target! I just weighed myself out of curiosity and am 8 stone 4lbs. That's prob what I weighed when I got married. Hopefully I won't put on too much weight this pregnancy either and can ping back into shape again!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

We did the same job before going on honeymoon, dual purpose - relaxes me to fly and earns money. See I'm even justifying my champagne!
Sadly the cheapest a vintage suit has gone for on ebay so far is £67  Much cheaper to get some garbadine and make it, it's not like it needs to last forever, just need the time and a pattern really. I also want to make myself a dress for the event, very nervous of button holes though.
10stone has taken 3 months to get to. at this rate I'll get to the goal weight by the end of October.... but somehow I think New York might set me back a bit!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yeah - but you can't go to New York and not indulge. It wouldn't be right somehow!!!
I put on weight after my wedding and struggled to lose a stone. Having Max seemed to restart my metabolism again so maybe you should try it Dinah. Lol!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Too much debt to have a baby, I gather the tykes like food, heating, nappies, all that jazz!
I really, REALLY need to make enough money to pay for the finishing bits to the house. I think we're about £2000 off being finished. If we finish the house firstly it'll be a nicer place to live, and secondly we can get it valued, and if it sells for enough we can clear the debt and do another house to gain a bit more equity. I have a plan, but it doesn't stop me panicing!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
