I have managed to take rubbish and recycling out, do some ironing and put more washing in all while he has been asleep!

He sounds like me :rotfl: Got signed off work yesterday and was so tired I went to bed for a nap in the afternoon. OH mopped all the floors, hoovered outside the bedroom and did 3 loads of washing. I heard none of it :o

I've been having really bad dizzy spells for nearly two weeks now, just put it down to being pregnant really. But went to the doctors and he said my blood pressure was really low - too low - signed me off straight away. Under strict instructions I am to rest and do pretty much nothing - im bored already!

Can they do anything about low blood pressure or will it resolve itself? You're going to be climbing the walls if you're on bed rest from now until October! Just noticed your baby is due on NIMs birthday :D

Hopefully it will just resolve itself. I'm hoping that a week of rest and just generally chilling out might bring it up a bit. However doctor and midwife have both said that if I am still feeling the same next week then I am not to go back to work.

I know 2 other people who were born on the 4th October too! :)

Hope you don't have to be on bed rest for too long Flower, it's sounds lovely but I'm sure the reality is tedious!

Zig, I've already been warned about the crying, my old manager had her eyes done a few years back but her procedure had been a bit nastier than the norm, she actually couldn't open her eyes for 5 days and she kept crying because she couldn't see but the tears were making it hurt even more which made her cry harder!

I think my OH would fall over if he saw me 'nesting'... I'm not exactly known for my love of tidying!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Flower, I assume that lil'un will have a reference to me somewhere in its name, it is being born on my 25th birthday after all...oooh can I be godfather? :)
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Lol I read that and thought he said 'can I be grandfather'... my gut reaction was time and biology had already decided that one!

:rotfl::rotfl:You sound like my OH, you do know a due date doesnt mean he/she will be there on that day without fail. He told me the other day that he had booked the 4th off work ready for the arrival :rotfl: he couldnt understand why I found that so funny.
