Hitting them off concrete

CMD that sounds awful
I hope they are found safe and well. I know how you feel though, recently someone that OH knows and another man were flying a hot air balloon which crashed. He left a young daughter also. It's so sad.
That sounds like a lovely leaving day Wendz, are you excited now? Hope your Nan is ok
All these holidays sound amazing! Me and OH just came back from London. We stayed in the Covent Garden Travelodge - only £40 for the night which we thought was good. Nice location to walk to places too.
I had laser eye surgery on Saturday! My eyes are still sore but I can see and it's amazing and I love it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Wow Zig, big change. Did you get both eyes done at once or just one? I'd love to wake up and be able to see clearly, but I think I'd freak out at the idea of what they were doing as you're awake during it aren't you?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sad news CMD, hope they are found safe and well.
Zig, the best thing I ever did was get my eyes lasered, 5 years on and my eyesight is still great.0 -
That's horrible news CMD
It's even more horrible to say but I hope that at least bodies are found, even though that's the worst outcome at least their families minds will be a little more at rest. Can't imagine how they must be feeling.

Thanks all. Still no word. The search has resumed again today and the community has really pulled together too. It is the area we want to move to when we do move home so nice to think there is good community spirit there.
Nice to see you on here Zig! My MIL got her eyes done about 7 years ago and said the difference was amazing. Oh wants to get his done but he has weird stigma things so I think it would cost about £3,000. Needless to say, he won't be getting it done for a while.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Happy new eyes Zig! I'd love to get mine done
Did you have a nice time in London?
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

It was so tiring but great thanks! Ate far too much. Would thoroughly recommend Wahaca though. Is the new job any better?Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Yep both eyes. I'm prone to panic attacks so I had to really concentrate but it doesn't go on for long. The worst bit is the suction thing they put on your eye to make the flap thing, but then it's fineYou have drops to numb your eyes and they keep topping them up which is reassuring! Gotta say, I was terrified but the result is well worth it.
