Mate what I have done to you to warrant an attempt on my life?

Think of the bonus points you will get to use around the house? Have to bank as many as we can as men, you know we get blamed for everything the rest of the time.

You see this - he says he wants me happy... but he'd prefer sedated!

Theres a difference between happy and manic, when you get manic I get bruises. She flails around a lot, its not a case of actively attacking me, just in case anyone thinks I'm a battered husband :p

True, but now if I get her chocolate it was your idea so no points, if I don't I'm in trouble hence attempt on my life.

How about you get the chocolate and feed it through the letterbox and head off to the pub?

OK, I know this is a little off topic (although I can never quite follow just what the topic is when NIM and Poolie start! ;))... has anyone seen this blog? Saw a link in Funny Money and I'm LOL at the comments! Thought our bookworms on here would enjoy the giggle! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Hi everyone,

    Sorry I didn't pop on yesterday,was a bit hectic.

Dinah - the holiday plans all sound brilliant, bet you are excited.

Last day at work was really nice, we went for our lunch and I was drinking non alcoholic mojitos and had a salad , and then a whole baby chicken and desert so did very well! We went back to work and I was given flowers and two cards with loads of lovely messages. Then I got a bit emotional as I said bye to everyone. Nice to think I can have a couple of weeks of relaxation time now though.

Glad to hear the last day went well Wendz.

Got the holiday booked! Not somewhere we'd considered going, but I got such a great deal.

That looks brilliant Dinah. Spill the beans on cost etc!!!

We are looking to bring Max on a family holiday in June (before baby number 2 comes along). Although I think Turkey might be too hot for him in June.

At the moment we are looking at a villa in Alvor, Portugal.

Does anyone know anything about Alvor? I know my parents went with my sister years ago and they loved it. They said it was quiet and had lovely restaurants.
