The 10% off lasts till the end of may they said on the advert so if you spend £100 this weekend, get 20% off you then get the card that runs till end of May. Sounds like could be useful for your garden!0

I'm starting to think I imagined the Quidco 20%. I can't find any details of it!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I went to give blood today but couldn't donate due to low iron - I feel so rejected!
That happens to me a lot, I have to be really careful what time of the month I go - it has to be as close to the mid point as I can get between periods otherwise I'm low iron - it's really frustrating as you've got yourself all psyched up and then have to wait another three months.
Re. B&Q, I seem to think over 60s get 10% off permanently? So could you take your grandad along whenever you need anything? Actually I think it might only be on certain days (Wednesday?) - maybe a search on the forums would clarify! Sorry not much help!
Re. dress patterns! I'm after something like the black and white one here:
Or the reddy/orangey ones here:
(based on the sketch my friend did!) in a modern 12 if you have any such thing I'd be v interested? Can feel my sew-jo (:D) coming back!
Off to have a look at Birdie Blog (oh I hope you called it something like that!)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I'll have a look at what I have tonight Tete. Can I have the link to your 101 things list? I really want to see because I loved your 28 things list.
That and I have no work whatsoever to be doing and I need something to fill my day.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Tete - I think you are right that it is wednesdays for the over 60's. OH used to work there and always moaned about wednesdays haha.
Love the dresses!
Just saw an ad for homebase as well, they are doing 15% off this weekend then 10% off for two weeks or something so not quite so good as b and q.0 -
Hope you approve of the blog title Tete, there are already so many puns about Birdies about already that I wanted something a little unique! And a shocking number of 'Robyn's Nests' oddly!
I'm loving the dress patterns too. Oh how I wish I could sew! I could always tell my Mum that I want us to make a dress together... and leave her to it! Or I could offer a skill swap, she can make me a dress and I can make her the shadow box wedding collage thingy she's been saying that 'we' can make together, which means I'll be making it!
I never thought about iron levels in the blood differing throughout the month. Makes sense though! I'll have to mention it to my SIL, she's been refused a few times for blood donation but when she's gone to get her blood properly checked the iron levels are fine, she must be going at the wrong time of the month!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Yeah I love the title Birdie - puntastic!
Now you mention it I follow about three blogs at least which are birdesque - and the amount of 'sew' for 'so' puns!! *roll eyes* I like the idea of a skill swap! I'm making a dress for my friend and she's making me a patckwork embroidered cushion (even though she's the real life fashion designer! Eep - my dress will be crap!)
Yeah the ladies at the blood centre said that was a likely reason so it's worth thinking about.
This is my list, it's not very exciting and there's an inordinate amount of physical activity on there!!
Oh dear Wendz, but yeah I can imagine it being a nightmare with all the oldies coming in!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
