Feeling like a total idiot but it's a drink just a drink?! I mean, if it comes from the same place n'all. :o I dunno, I'm a Rekorderlig cider girl :D

NIM - Yes, she really wanted that box set. And didn't keep it much of a secret she hoped one was modeled after Till _pale_ No shame, my Mother.

Well done on the profiteroles Dinah :D It's always stupid amounts of fun when you do recipes that aren't the norm. Glad you cracked them first time too, hate it when things don't turn out properly!

I've had a couple in Davys, didnt rate the pint tbh, but I'll concede the stew with the soda bread is fantastic.
Best pint of Guinness I ever had was in dublin, at the brewry, worst pint of Guinness I ever had was also in dublin at a pub less than a mile from the brewry. But I've had many more good pints in the sticks than in the big smoke.

But Galway is one of the more charming parts of the country to be fair.

Best pint of Guinness I ever had was in Joxer Daly's pub in Dublin. I wouldn't send any tourist there though, it is very dingy!

Worst pint was any nightclub in Ireland or anywhere outside Ireland. The Guinness definitely tastes better at home!

I think it's that weird thing of the local tipple tasting best in the place it came from. Like when you go on holiday and the beer tastes really good... then you get home and buy some because it's 'so nice' and it tastes like feet!

All the music talk is totally over my head, I'm going to see McFly on the 19th so that's a pretty good indication of my musical leanings! :rotfl:

Ditto the 'well done' on the profiteroles! You must have been very proud, I'm not brave enough to try them!

I'm a fan of dingy pubs tbh, but I dont think I've been to Joxers, that said I dont recall a good 25% of my drinking in dublin so you never know.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

    I don't know?! I wonder if we'll get a 25% refund if he doesn't perform?! :money:

Morning all. Back at work today, not enjoying it though! Especially after my manager pointed out my sick note covered me for today and I didn't need to come back until tomorrow! That said I'm not sure if I'll have been on half pay as its within 6 months of the end of my mega block of sickness with my knee.

No more exciting news today, hoping to cross the first financial forecast goal off my 101 Things list tonight though. I've thought of more things I want on the list - should I delete a few of the others or just expand the list?!

Haha, you might! Just after I posted that there was something on Radio 1 about a phone interview with Tom about it, and then said how they're changing some of the dates?

Oh crikey, I think I'd better have a look to see if they're changing 'my' date!

You should just expand the list Dinah since the things you'd be likely to remove are the little easy things but crossing them off as done would make you feel better about your progress in general! When I first started mine I thought there's no way I'd be able to think of 101 things, but it was shockingly easy!
