I prefer carpet in the bedroom. I agree with Wendz, I think it makes the room warmer. However, I think wooden floors show up better in photos and give the place a more modern, fresh feel about the place. It's amazing what a furry rug can do too - can give the best of both worlds. So in answer to your question - if I was doing it up to keep for myself I would put carpets down, if I was doing it up to sell I would put wooden floors down. Hope it makes sense!
I agree with this, if I was doing it just for me I would have carpet. But id we were talking resale value I would put wooden floors with a nice big furry rugBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

I thought you were a lurker who'd forgotten to lurk - changing your piccie confuses me!
Vine, basically I wrote about 20 reviews and then one day I logged on amazon front page and there was a big advert on the right hand side asking if i wanted to join.
Can't buy the new floor till mum pays for the car, so have a while until we need to decide.
Think the diet project might be knocked on the head. I'm sick of chopping and changing and it doesn't seem to be working. I know whats good for me and what isn't, I just need to have more self control!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Our area seems to be pretty much flat - the cheapest 4 bed in our town (and its small enough not to really have good and bad parts!) is up at £189,950, but it needs some work as its a little tatty, nothing major just dated. If ours sold for that I'd be pretty chuffed.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I hope you get a good price. I can't wait to get rid of our flat when the mortgage is up in 2013. We will have had it 10 years by then so hopfully we will get a good deposit for a family home in Ireland (if there are jobs there by then!).
I have a bit of news to announce. I am nearly 11 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. It was a 'happy' surprise but I never wanted a huge gap so there will be 18 months between them. We only want 2 children so we can get all the sleepless nights and nappies in 1 go. I have been feeling way better than I did with Max so that has been a relief as I was quite ill with himTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
