No probs.
Leave your pc alone. Take out the hard drive and take it to a mate's house (with your pc) that knows what he's doing, and get him to recover all the files you need.
Then get him to reinstall Windows XP on your pc.0 -
Too late, just frozen on me again!

Dunno about you albert, but I reckon this is a graphics card driver issue?0 -

Unfortunately, wouldn't know anyone who could help with this, I just don't understand why, following the clean up a few days ago, it was fine, and now not?0 -

Hi, still having probs, if anyone can help
Windows has loaded this morning but I don't appear to be able to click on any icons, when I do, the screen freezes & I have to CTRL, ALT & DEL, which then shows me SMC & EXPLORER (Not responding)
I CAN get on-line (I use Mozilla Firefox)
I am currently using Sygate Personal Firewall, Ccleaner, Counterspy, AVG Virus & Spybot serach & destroy
Could it be that the above are conflicting with each other & affecting start up?
Also, I can start up in safe mode if req'd
Please help!!0 -
Have you tried repairing IE? Might be worth a go.
It's (thankfully) ages since I've used ME, but I think it's control panel/add remove programs/windows internet explorer v?........ there should be a repair option if I remember correctly.
