I was in the Warminster Travelodge 3 weeks ago, there's a Morrisons close by for a cheap breakfast if you dont want to use the Little Chef onsite

    That's brilliant - thank you so much!:T

Thanks for the link Miss Laid - I was just getting the busy message through the homepage links.

Just got a £12.50 room at Nottingham Trowell for March - got a gig to go to at Rock City  and didn't fancy travelling home the same night - will be our first night away without the kids - and the eldest will be almost 10 by then!

  • Was going to book a room at the local Travelodge yesterday and then saw there was a sale on today. Went on the site around 8.00am, checked dates and guess what? The price had INCREASED. So much for having a sale. Of the 70 prices shown there were 2 £9 rooms which were 12 miles from the required hotel and 5 @ £19 also 12 miles away.
Have to say, far from impressed so watch out guys.
  • Thank you
Just sorted mums birthday present 1 night in Covent Garden and dinner for £31.50
(just the train tickets to go)

    I'm not too impressed either.

Putting my destination and dates in brings up 2 nights at 19.50 each, (In green "sale" boxes). When I click on to book them the prices shoot up to 29.00 and 75.00 respectively.

So thats £104 as opposed to £39.00 it initially offers it at.

I think I stand a good chance of a much better deal with late rooms later on.
  • Thanks for this, have booked two weekends away in March, one with my mate and one with hubby for £87 for both would usually pay that for one night, bargain.
  • Yep same here, when I click on a price in green it goes up in price to £79 instead of the £25 GRRR I give up!
  • Is there anything available in York?
