Yes Stigy its factual, there was article in the Sunday Times a few days ago where Euro went on record saying that they have never taken anyone to court ever! Now how many tickets have they issued since they were created? How many of those tickets went unpaid ? How many times have they threatened court ?
Really if these companies who have issued 800k tickets a year truly took people to court we would hear about it, even if they took 1% of that it would be 8k a year going to court, can you point me to that number of cases ?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

Not a response to you - just highlighting to others that Messrs Arthur and Terry are using well known PPC tactics.
A few threads going against good advice and the good old Thomas case thrown in for good measure, despite the fact that small claims doesn't set a legal precedent it continues to be trotted out by the scammers.0 -
Sorry, just checkin as was confuzzled. Still waiting for details from Stigy about us tellin people to ignore tickets other than ppc'sI'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Yes but out of the 800k tickets issued each year by the PPCs, more than 550k or 70% are not paid, the reason is that people are being lemmings and following advice from forums like this, and people are getting wise to the fact that companies like euro have NEVER ever taken people to court! My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

You will be waiting a long while then as they are not thereExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?

I don't know where you got these figures from but they are some way out of date. The last year for which we have figures (April 2008-March 2009) There were over 1.4million enquiries by BPA AOS members using the "electronic link" alone. Each of these checks represents a postal invoice but not the demands issued direct to vehicles.
I got the figures from the times article a few days ago that stated over 800k tickets issued, and the figures of over 70% of tickets were not paid admitted by one of the PPCs a few months agoExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. Yes. I think you are right. I knew it was a sockpuppet but which one.
..Not so much the puppet as the hand within maybe?
Really guys, I'm not the Scarlet Pimpernal, trust me.:) I could be so good for you.
Next you'll be accusing me of deliberately increasing my revenue by inviting people to deliberately break the rules.
I could have come on here an dog whistled my message under the pretext of being one of the comrades. But no, I have merely advised caution for caution's sake.
Personally I wouldn't put much credence in internet jockies who proclaim they escaped the tenticles of the PPC. They are hardly going to spoil a good yarn when it's actually gone pear shaped. It's like telling everyone you are expecting a brand new car befitting your superior acumen only to find out it's a lemon; as much as it sticks in your craw you still maintain the deception until you can convince the avid fans that a crash has resulted in a writeoff.A stitch in time means you can't afford a new one.0 -

You must be getting desperate as your industry collapses around you, can you explain over half a million unpaid ppc tickets a year? Can you explain that your whole industry has only won a few cases of going to court? Can you explain the fact that there has only been in the region of 200-300 cases taken to court by your ilk?
I am really enjoying your desperationExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?

Ok, You advise caution. But let us have clear and unequivocal proof that a PPC as taken ANYONE to court and WON on their so called contractual agreements, one, JUST ONE, that is all we ask.
Your scam is collapsing around you like a pack of cards and you don't like it one bit, not one bit, that the word is actually getting out about you. I personally make a point of doing it too, every time i go shopping.
If it isn't, explain all the new posters on other sites as well as this looking for reassurance from what are basically bullies, more or less, demanding money with menaces.
Let us have just ONE case a PPC as won without spouting the Thomas or the "Shirley" cases, if you do so, you will have lost........again.0 -

What's the saying about the devil's biggest deception being the one where he convinced everyone he didn't exist.
I would suppose the more people who flout the posted rules the greater the potential income through users buckling at the last hurdle and paying. Once the inconvenience of attending court becomes apparent, it's often cheaper to pay the demand.
On the balance of probabilities it's more than likely profitable for the PPC to pay the fee to the county court to have the matter heard and just not show up, hoping the intervening period will result in payment from the perp.A stitch in time means you can't afford a new one.0
