What scares me the most is she posted this 4 days after the event.

She has been violently ill for 4 days
  • I was at a restaurant last week and ordered a chocolate fondant. 20 minutes we had to wait for it to be baked in the oven and when they bought it out with a little sprig of mint on it a tiny baby caterpillar hoped of the leaf onto the lovely dessert and sadly expired due to the heat. We had a good laugh with the staff about it, they got us another one (which involved another 20 minute wait) and we all got on with our lives.

I found a caterpillar on my door once. I got £1m compensation from the people who built my home - I could have touched it!

If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

There is no such thing as a 'baby caterpillar' - a catepillar is the larval stage of a butterfly or moth.

Just pick the caterpillar out the next time and carry one.

The going rate for caterpillars (depending on size) is £12.64 (uneaten). This rises to £17.42 if partially eaten and £26.98 for a full swallow.

  • Took me 4 days to post the thread as i work from 7am till 10pm at night 3 times a week so i can spend the rest of the time with my 2 very small children.

I was happy to just complain to Asda, get my money back on my bag of frozen sweetcorn and carry on but was told by a few friends that they may give me more than a refund. Was slightly confused so asked advice and obviously they misinformed me which i thought was the case.

No need to take the mick, was only asking a simple question which is what i thought this site was for - advice and help?

Case closed and don't listen to your friends, it seems they like the appeal of the American culture of compensation that seems to be hitting our shores..

As for taking the mick, it's not really that bad, bit of light hearted humour, take it in good jest and try and see the funny side, if you have a problem most of the people on here are good at helping.
:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!

I don't understand why you would need your money back-you didn't throw the bag of sweetcorn away surely - just picked out the caterpillar and carried on cooking?
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
