    Oh there was quite a bit of Benefits bashing going on too.... wouldn't be Nolan without it!!

    Errmm, that's a bit flawed, many benefits are already a taxable income such as JSA but unless you earn (or collect benefits) up to your tax threshold, £7470 per year for most, you don't pay any tax.
