A car-mechanic friend (and an electrician friend) always use duct tape on their cuts :eek: !

I well-remember the sick to your stomach feeling when you do anything like that .....using a stick blender one time (to make smoked fish pate), I stopped, cleaned the blade, using my fingers....then switched b****y thing on again!:eek:

Almost blended the top of my middle finger .....took ages to grow out the nail and grow a new one - it sort of took half a dozen slices of the top knuckle..... ouch, ouch, ouch!

They wouldn't stitch that they would use that medical glue you can get it in the pound shops for £1 or its about £7 or £8 in superdrug. My mum cut a big lump out of her hand just over a month ago now and you could see the muscle moving in her hand just under her thumb it was gross.

It's healed now
