He's logged off now. Nothing to see here but the dust of a PPC troll who has given up after the first pathetic attempt to try to tell us that he had been 'issued with a CCJ'.
For any newbies reading this, you can't just be slapped with a CCJ, IT DOESN'T HAPPEN LIKE THAT!
And the only time that Parking Eye ever went to Court was when they were taken there by a registered keeper and the judge told Parking Spy to pay the motorist's money back, plus costs! :rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Perhaps the repeated use of this single theme suggests there is just a single troll? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
"do I accept the fine" Sounds more like one of the pieces of fake court papers often sent out to intimidate and its never been near a court.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

My word they are taking action against their own employees.
Everyone else takes the advice and ignores the silly letters, but I suppose if you work for them it's a bit trickier.0 -
As trolling attempts from PPCs go this has to be one of the worst!

I am sorry for having to go offline, I typed my previous post whilst very upset at being sent a County Court Summons from Northampton County Court. I can scan the 4 page document I received as obviously I have not been believed as proof and I promise this is all true, I am not a 'spammer' as people will have you believe. I did join the forum on Friday as I was upset and felt I needed to let people know that it is possible that Parking Eye can send a Summons.
I parked in a car park in October which had just been taken over by Parking Eye. It was on a Sunday and the cost of the car park was £5 for the day. I did not realise I had to pay as I was in a rush and had never had to pay previously on entering the car park. I did the exact same thing 2 weeks later as I had not received any correspondence from Parking Eye and was unaware I could not park for free.
I then received 2 letters from Parking Eye requesting payment of £60 with another £60 on top of this if I did not pay within 14 days. I looked on this website as well as others and was happy to see that nobody ever gets taken to court. The advice on the BBC Watchdog site also backed this up so I ignored the letters. I then received another 4 letters which I was expecting (as explained elsewhere on this site) so did not worry and ignored again.
I have now been sent a court summons from Northampton County Court saying I now owe the amount claimed + court fees and solicitors costs with a response pack. This gives me 5 options:
Admit the amount I owe
Admit part of the amount I owe
Dispute the whole claim
Request 28 days to respond to the claim
Do Nothing
I am as shocked as everybody else and understand that maybe by first message appeared to be spam, but I should hope with the extra detail people will believe me. I am still panicking a little, my mum thinks I should just pay it as I do not want to get a CCJ but I want to fight it.
Please can this be taken seriously this time and somebody give me some real advice?
Thank you.0 -
Dispute the whole claim
Blimey Parking Spy going to court, they must be wanting another beating.0 -
Here is a very useful site where they discuss just such issues. I am sure someone will be able to advise if you post on their forum.
