HELP - HSBC Bank Account Closure

Thanks MeeNorr I think they will actually close mine ! I think it maybe several reasons
I did use it as a main bank account until I saw duplicate payments come out of my account I asked HSBC to investigate and they said that there was nothing wrong. Which I have now found to be false thanks to a very helpful and co-operative third party who has held up their hands
Secondly I made HSBC pay me nearly a total of £2500 in three seperarte incidences of reclaiming fees.
I also complain and kick off they downgraded my Solo to a basic bank account and I kicked off. Therefore I think three issues
1) Not funding my account with my Salary
2) Reclaiming a large amount in charges
3) Generally being a high maintance customer

I think it is just their way of getting rid off "high risk" or people that they just dont want unfortunatly they have picked the wrong person

They closed your account because of the many problems on the account. There is nothing you can do about it. They downgraded your card because of the way your account was being treated. They dont do that if you are good with money. So bad customer cant handle banking with them. The bit about salary is not relevant to you.

If you try and appeal they will laugh at you. Go to another bank like the coop and ask them to open an account. Or try Barcalys they might help you.

That was over 3 years ago they downgraded my account yes I was crap with my Money I was a Student no excuses but ! I think people will understand. I did however manage to get my account back into the black and a Visa Debit card

Checked my credit report today and can see that they have referenced my file yesterday so hopefully should know by the weekend I hope !

You can always phone LLoyds and they will let you know if you have been accepted.

Didnt know that cheers if I havent had anything in tomorrows post I will give them a call
Still nothing from HSBC letter was signed for on Monday but not expecting anything to be honest !

Letter through today from Lloyds saying account is all setup and just need to provide two docs for ID - now where did I leave my passport ! Just want to say massive thanks to Paris who has been Ace

LLoyds card through HSBC are now closing all my accounts not just my Current account due and I quote "unhappy about transaction transfering through my accounts" i.e accusing me of money laundering
