Im willing to take on suggestions but lets be honest i cant really cut back much more than i have ive just signed up with agencies for work and am willing to take what jobs i can.Obviously we want to be debt free im not concerned as to clearing it in a set time frame so long as it comes down and we dont lose our house. If the only luxury my children and husband have is some sky channels then so be it id rather pay 2 years extra debt and have this small luxury. And as for people saying my dog has to go thats not constructive as she costs £3 a week to feed. And because we cant get a benefit we dont qualify for the pdsa so i have to have insurance.I only posted my soa as people asked me to theres already alot ive cut out such as mobiles football training swimming etc.So i feel my children are losing already i really dont want them to have no programmes especially with the dark nights and winter coming.bikerqueen wrote:Basically you have 2 choices. Cut your OUTGOINGS significantly, or boost your INCOMINGS significantly.
I don't want to be mean but it seems that every good suggestion is knocked back with "yeah, but, no, but." People on here give good advice, but if it's ignored then no, you wont get out of the situation. Nick Jr is NOT a must. Food is a must, a roof over your head is a must, sky plus, Nick JR etc are not a must, they are a "it will be nice to have when I have enough money for them."
Frankly, it doesnt actually affect anyone but your family what you choose to do to tackle your debts, but I do find it frustrating when all reasonable and sensible suggestions arer rejected because they wont allow you to continue your current lifestyl. Well unfortunately you cant, cause circumstances have changed.DEBT £45,OOO AT 9/10/06:mad: HERES TO A FRESH START!0

i think peoples point is that you are in such a dire financial situation you genuinely cannot afford any luxuries (dog is not a luxury) and your attitude that you would rather be in debt longer than give up a small luxury may well mean that you will not do so well in clearing your debts. as i'm sure you are aware, clearing all your debts is going to be a very hard and long job (tho you will have lots of support here) and you must be genuinely committed to doing all you can to reduce your outgoings and increase your incomings. it's thinking you can have and keep the luxuries that is going to keep you in debt (i should know as i am equally guilty of this myself)carve your name in red. the silver slipping and slicing. rose petals blossom and fall. soul steals away.0

Someone last night before they closed my thread.I could never part with her ,and shes a form of paying some debt as we were going to breed her in a couple of months which should make us atleast £1000 if not more to pay off a debt.cattie1 wrote:who told you to get rid of your dog?

            Hi there
Just to remind you about https://www.freecycle.org. You can get a lot of items for FREE there (you do have to sign up, but that is free too). We regularly have clothes for example on our site going free to someone. So you may wish to look there too, as well as ebay.
I appreciate that you are selling things on ebay, but have you thought about using Amazon for books. It looks like you get a better price there. Just a thought.
You may also want to sign up with some online cashback sites, (assuming you are not already). I make 90p a day just doing click throughs, ie where you don't have to buy anything. If you were diligent, this would net you £328.50 over the course of a year. Every little helps. There are also myster shopper sites, where you get some money for going to check out a restaurant etc.
Your situation is dire, but it will get better. Are any of your children old enough to get a paper round or saturday job to help out. Places like Boots etc will be taking on Christmas staff now, so may be they could help out that way?
 Best of luck,
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

If your dog has health problems is it wise to breed from her? She sounds like a much loved member of your family not a money making idea. Also if you are planning to do it correctly(and from reading all your threads I'm positive you would do NOTHING to risk her health) it will cose quite a lot even before you start to breed. A stud dog costs money also vet fees etc, puppies cost a lot extra heating, special food initial innoculations, worming treatments .Then advertising and getting the pupppies registered.PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS.There are far too many puppies that cant get loving homes as it is.She is your pet NOT a way of increasing your cash flow. Good luck in your attempts to sort your finances out.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.
