I work on flexi so as long as I work the required number of hours during a set period it's up to me when I do them.

If it makes you feel better I do start at 730 in the morning! :D

I remember the good old days of flexi when I worked at DVLA! No such luxury now but I hope you enjoyed your early finish :D. 3 bottles of nail varnish sounds like a great result, I really like the Rimmel 60 second stuff, desperately need to do my nails today and I have lots of nice new little stickers to go on!

I don't think I have ever been to a Halloween party :(, I love fancy dress stuff though :o. Hope you have a good weekend hun

    Morning! How is everyone?

I had a great weekend - costume is coming along well, much better once I figured out a technique for stuffing the legs! :D

Did my usual 5 hour walk round the woods on Sat with the dog and my Mum - this frosty but sunny weather is lovely for walking in.

Went to a friends for afternoon tea yesterday instead of going out as she's trying to save money too, was a good laugh with the small sandwiches with no crusts etc!

Made a batch of soup for lunches for the week too, never again will I try a recipe that involves destalking three huge bags of spinach - took sooo long! :)

On the MSE front good news too - I cancelled my Goldfish card and have a £21 credit on it's way back to me. Also cancelled my MBNA, was sooo disapponted it was an automated system, I really wanted to tell them what I thought of them! :rotfl:

And the best news....got my phone bill reduced from £35 to just £5 a month!!!! :T And with more minutes than I get now too! :j

  • :T Well done Beccie :T

How did you manage to get the phone down by that much?!

How many days are you on now? It's 157 for me! :)

Thats a HUGE phone bill saving! How did you manage that? I thought I had done well to get mine from £35 to £20 :rotfl:, does that include internet?

    :T @ the goldfish card, £21 isn't to be sniffed at :D
