God Bec's that is gonna be a tough day at work!

Well done for booking the trip, I totally agree that whilst there you should do as much as possible as you may never go back :)

Wow Beccie - the Turtle Island sounds amazing.

Going back to work could go either way - you'll either be fully refershed and invorated - or sit staring out the window wishing you were back in Borneo. Now, which do you reckon :-)

Can only take photos in the last week (different to the other projects I've been too) but I'll make sure to take a LOT in that week! :D

I'm back on the 10th April which is a Sunday and straight back to work on Monday 11th - not looking forward to that - 22 hour journey back to get home early Sunday evening, 8 hour time difference to get over, back to work straight away after 2 months off and it's my birthday! That will be a depressing day!

The best thing you can do is stay awake for as long as possible on the plane, that way when you get home you'll be tired enough to sleep through the night :)

That'll be a challenge for me then Adam, staying awake on plane's is one of the things I'm worst at! :D

Had a text from the landlady at the pub I work at to tell me that she is selling the place, as she said it may take months to go through and she will recommend the staff to the next person but something that I will need to bear in mind

    Morning everyone,

Well not a great weekend :(

Worked solidly so am knackered and also found out on Saturday evening that one of the regulars from the pub killed himself on Saturday morning. Such a nice guy who I had sat and chatted too pretty much every Sunday afternoon for 2 and half years and nobody guessed anything was wrong.

Then Sunday night another fight in the club - really getting sick of the hours at the moment, seems like a lot of hassle for not a lot. :(

    Sorry for the whinge x

    Hi Bec's

Don't apologise for whinging, I do plenty of it!

Only a few more shifts to go though and you'll be on that plane :)

Sorry to hear about the regular, it's so hard to understand why and so sad.

Was the fight a bad one?

    Thanks Woo x

Not as bad as the one before and was dealt with quite fast. I'm fairly sure it's not like I'm ever going to get hurt or anything, just not quite sure that it's worth the money.

Trying to weigh up £80 a month against really not being too happy working there.

Feel very lazy if I quit and also is it better to just keep going all out as the sooner I clear the debt the sooner I won't need to work extra jobs at all.

I'm rubbish at making these decisions!

Beccie my love, one thing no one can accuse you of is being lazy. Only you can know how important/vital £80 per month is when weighed up against the other commitments etc in your life, but I'm sure you will weigh the options and will make the right decision.

Very sad about the pub customer. I had a client who killed himself a few years ago, I felt so awful for ages wondering whether there was anything I should have seen/said/done, but ultimately those who mean business often give very little away and often no one knows how badly they are suffering. I hope he is at peace now.

    xx

If your really not happy though £80 is not worth it, you already do a full time job and a part time one.

You can quit and felt guilt free in my opinion x
