You have done really well Bec's, and booking Borneo hasn't really thrown you off course at all - so you really have learnt how to plan and manage your budgets :)

    Thanks Woo :)

    Morning everyone,

£19 to the loan, £1 to the o/d and £1 to Borneo spends.

Minimum payments have cleared, meaning I have another % to go and report now 21% cleared :)

  • Well done Beccie.

Are your December Payments in your sig including your o/d and borneo payments or excluding them?

    Thanks Pennies :)

They include my payments to the o/d as that is a debt but I haven't included Borneo as I need to find that money as an extra.

  • Sounds good, how do you plan to raise all the money for Borneo? Will you achieve your deadlines?

I've got my new pin for ING now so will be calling them tonight to activate that, which will give me £165 to add to the Borneo fund.

No specific plan other than keep working and trying to raise the money :D

Got a fair few shifts coming up - Dec is good for pub work - so hoping that will help me along.

Have been putting aside spare change for nights out as well, am hoping that means that events that are on won't set me off course too much.

I've also done all my Xmas shopping and under budget too so am pleased with that and also means I don't need to find any extra money for that either.

    All looking good :D

  • Hi Beccie

Just thought I'd pop in to say hello. I am really inspired by your way of tackling debt... £ at a time. I'd never thought about just paying an extra £ or two to a debt. It's a really good idea as I think I just fritter away these little extras when I could be putting them towards debt.

I'll be doing this from now on!!! Cheers! :)

    Hi nowpanicking,

    Thanks for popping in :)

It is amazing how quickly those extra £s add up and it does also help make it all seem much more achievable.

Can't take the credit for it though - I was inspired back when I first started this by Woo and her sending pennies to Lloyds x
