Nope!
Still trying to avoid Xmas as much as possible - haven't put up any decorations at home or anything like that.

Ah come on Scrooge, if you're giving to the loan at this time of year you should definately be giving to yourself in the way of time and happiness!VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0

That made me laugh, giving to the loan! :rotfl: My Xmas present to the loan will be kicking it's !!! all the way to zero!
I've never been that into Xmas (despite working as an elf in Santa's grotto one year! :rotfl:) and the last 3 years have really made me think about it a lot. Spending the last 2 in Zim and the one before that at a homeless shelter definitely made me re-evaluate a lot of it.
The extra time spent with family and friends is great and I definitely wouldn't knock that part of it. But the shine has definitely been taken off of all the excesses of Christmas.
Good job we're all having an MSE XmasDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Morning!
My friend's birthday present finally arrived yesterday. Was a little bit worried it wouldn't look as nice as it did it in the photos but it is absolutely beautiful so am pleased with that.
Still just small payments today, so as usual - £1 loan, £1 o/d and £1 Borneo spends.Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

Busy, busy weekend.
Have to say, some of the customers who come into the club leave a little to be desired.... oh well think of the money!

No, nothing in particular (which makes a change!) just finding it increasingly wearing with the constant pervy comments and quite a lot of nastiness from some of the people.
In a way I probably should have expected this but I find it quite knackering trying to remain polite when they are being anything but, probably why I have actually been quite rude at some pointsDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
I am sure it must take a lot more tongue biting than I am capable of Becs! :-)0
