Thanks Kat - will check that out.

Just managed to get hold of OH (not easy - anyone notice cause people's numbers are in your phone you don't know them off by heart?!) and he has an old phone I can use for now.

Will still look round but not in as much of a panic!

Normally wouldn't mind being phoneless for a couple of days but we have team-building in London tomorrow and we have to phone when we get there to find where people are - wouldn't have been easy without a phone! :rotfl:

2 weeks after I got the new cheap deal that means I don't get a new phone!

Am currently suspecting T-mobile of sending out a signal to my phone to kill it to get me back! :rotfl:

Off to find the cheapest phone possible!

Don't you get a 14 day cooling off period? Can you not swap to a contract that comes with a phone?

Sorry to hear about your phone hun, I hope you can either get a replacement or a new one soon and for little money. I know quite a few numbers off by heart but I have a good brain for remembering numbers.

Hope you had a good weekend hun, catch uo with you soon x

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

OH had an old phone! Even if he hadn't with the saving of £30 a month I still would have been better off buying a new phone than signing a more expensive contract.

Team-building on Friday was good and managed to only spend £23! :)

Did my first shift in the strip club yesterday. I worked on the door taking people's entrance fee. Interesting to say the least! :D

I had been thinking through in my head what it might be like so I was well prepared for the wierdos and pervy comments, and actually I met some very nice people too. I wasn't prepared for the guy who went outside for a cigarette and had a heart attack but there's nothing like an emergency to make the night pass quickly!

What was it like working on the door then Bec's, were they all really drunk and loud? Did you get many women going in?

I have to admit to being quite nervous but it was fine.

There were quite a few drunk and loud people but there is security as well so that was ok.

The girl I work with who got me the job always has stories about the people she's argued with and stuff and I saw her in action when she trained me! Not wanting to sound unfair to her but I think it's partly her fault it's like that - she launches into telling people to f**k off when they've barely opened their mouths whereas I found by being calm and polite the few argumentative people backed down and one even apologised!

There was quite a cross-section of people and I have a feeling that no two shifts will be the same!

You sit in a little box with a TV so I got to watch the x-factor results and read my book so not too bad!

Landlord and landlady seem lovely so fingers crossed this will work out quite well.
