My Staffy hates the rain too, but not on bonfire night it seems... on Friday night my boyfriend was putting the rubbish out (and it was chucking it down), but Tara (our staffy) legged it past him and started fighting with a firework... She absolutely hates them and she knocked a firework over... My boyfriend had to grab her and throw her out of harms way. It was so scary - I heard him screaming her name and knew something bad had happened... How neither were hurt I'll never know!

P.S- This is the same dog we found shaking under a quilt in the bderoom after we'd been burgled a couple of years back... She was absolutely terrified, bless her… it seems that when it comes to humans she’s as soft as putty, but with fireworks - she’s thinks she can fight…

So glad she's ok Claire, that sounds so scary!

When it snowed a couple of years back, it was the first time my dog had seen snow, I had to go out and dig a little hole before she would even consider going to pee!

It is 95 Jody! How are the savings figures looking?

£1 sent to the loan this morning and £1 to the o/d. :)

    Thanks Woo.

Wednesday and Thursday night - I managed to move my cleaning jobs to last night and tonight to fit that in.

Then I'm working 4 -8 Saturday at the normal pub then I'm back at the club on Sunday night.

Shaping up to be a good week for earning the pennies! :D

Have you had a go on the poles yet? Not in front of anyone, just messing around obviously! I would be dying to have a go!

Haven't had a go on them yet, give it time!

I did pole dancing about 18 months or so ago as part of an charity event arranged by the pub I work at and I ended up with bruised knees!

Also, quite embarassing appearing in front of all the people I normally serve in hotpants and a corset!

Mind you, it was not much longer after that we did a naked calendar for charity so I guess it was a good build up!
